5x su-30s,3x mig-29s,1x mig-27,7x mig-21,2x Mi-17s.
The total crashes are 5 for Mki, with around 17 years of service. Mig 29 too, have a relatively safe record. Others are pretty much relics now, and the ongoing comedy/drama is for their retirement.

Do what? The 1000th indian airforce jet crashed back in 2011.. I don't own Google you know.. Feel free to use it.
You called that a world record, and I asked you to check out how many aircrafts the USAF has lost to crashes. That's where google would help you.

I won't spoonfeed you, but here is a starter - the number of mishaps of the F-16 alone for the USAF is 466. Now check out similar data for all the other fighters it has operated, especially F-105. Then think about your statement about the world record.

In service since 1974.. That's more than 40 years .. And those mishaps included experimental jets/prototypes used by NASA etc.. US Marine Corps,Navy,National Guard,Airforce etc..?

Your statement is that 1000 crashes is a world record. The simple fact is that it is not. You may subtract the prototypes used by NASA, if you wish.

The IAF's 1000 crashes is since 1947, that is more than 67 years. USAF has crashed almost half that number of F-16s alone, in 40 years. And the F-16 is a safer and easier aircraft to fly than most of the aircrafts flown by India in that time. Now do add all the other crashes they have had, of course after subtracting the ones used by NASA.

Long story short - India's 1000 crashes is not a world record. Period.

this is a prime example of a feel good thread started under a false ID. I guess some people just need it so desperatly cuz nothing else seems o be working for them.:)
