Wrong.
Both IMF and World Bank have fully rejected Wealth data for measuring a nations development and only use GDP and GNI.
This ia because wealth index takes into account Fixed assets like land amd house owner ship which are not economic activities.
The main reason why Pakistan has more wealth than as per this data is because average per capita land area owner ship is higher in Pakistan than India.
Also research showed zero correlation between wealth and government revenues whereas It has been proved that Govt revenues are highly proportionate to GDP.
In my Native state Gujarat where i lived my 90% of life had GDP of 150(270 for whole pak) billion dollars, 3200$(1600$ for pak) per capita income and 9 to 12%(4% for pak) growth rate, with population of 5 carore in 2015-17.
This is just one state.
Seems your facts are wrong cuz there are 500million people, more than twice of the population of Pakistan, earn less than 1.25$ each day.In my Native state Gujarat where i lived my 90% of life had GDP of 150(270 for whole pak) billion dollars, 3200$(1600$ for pak) per capita income and 9 to 12%(4% for pak) growth rate, with population of 5 carore in 2015-17.

No it is you report which is flawed as instead of using average welath per adult it uses median wealth per adult which takes into account wealth distribution inequalityThis uses a method that calculates data based on income, not including assets. That's a flawed method. Like valuing a company based on income and ignoring the balance sheet.
Income vs wealth distribution rates are same in India and Pakistan.Income and Wealth are different.
Simple,No it is you report which is flawed as instead of using average welath per adult it uses median wealth per adult which takes into account wealth distribution inequality
Wealth distribution inequality is not important as India has an elite class which has a lot of wealth.

@Nilgiri haha, the same old wealth per capita.
Seems like you're not the only one who doesn't believe his 'facts'.
I DON'T BELIEVE INDIA'S GDP RATES

India's GDP revisions are beginning to confuse even RBI's own economists

India's growth numbers are a total mystery

Source that wealth data is false?

the best way to measure "wealth" which is by nature subjective is to look at hdi, which is the standard used by developmental economists to measure development. India is currentl 20 plaes ahead of pakistan. There is also ameasure thaybtakes inequality into account called hdi adjusted for inequality and india once again surpasses pakistan. tis "wealth per capita" is mostly just feel god stuff rejected by most economists. Also the problems with gdp mentioned in the article is with gdp nominal, not per capita.
gdp per capita and hdi are the standard used by ecoomists. HDI for development and gdp pr capita for economic growth. How are you defining wealth?
It not rejected by most economists. Can you provide a source for that?
gdp per capita and hdi are the standard used by ecoomists. HDI for development and gdp pr capita for economic growth.
so you are saying pakistan is wealthier than india desite being less developed? and gdp per CAPITA is also a measure of wealth.@firestrom777 you're actually chatting shit out of your arse. Show me where the WORLD BANK and IMF has categorically rejected wealth data and said it is 'flawed', as you have claimed.
We are not looking at development not are we looking at economic growth. We are looking at Wealth.
so you are saying pakistan is wealthier than india desite being less developed? and gdp per CAPITA is also a measure of wealth.
Refer to article, I didn't write it.
i did read the article and it doesnt prove pakistan is wealthier than india. it simply gives a number, and that number is contested. the fact is mosy if not all economists use hdi and gdp per capita to measure development so i will stick with those. And i thinkbyoubarebconfusing gdpnwith gdp per capita because in no way is dp per capita irrelevant.Refer to article, I didn't write it.
Refer to article, I didn't write it.
as i just said, most economists do jot use "wealth" which is subjective in nature. they use hdi and gdp per capita. Also, the UN is the organization that createdbthe hdi.
Yes pakistan has a smaller pop which affects the results which is why uou have to look at things on a per capita basis
It says, as most economists now that GDP is flawed. They use better methods that measure wealth. Since Pakistan has a smaller population, than India it uses a better method of wealth calculation. Pakistanis and more wealthy than Indians, all in all.
