Pakistanies are not obsessed but indians are. our yatrees are not safe in india.. 64 travlers got killed in train by indian army in samjotha express, killing people just cuz they are muslims every muslim in india doesnt have strong feelings towards Pakistan but hindu mentality doesnt accept that no muslims in stablishment of india and their army.

President Xi Jinping’s visit to usher economic revolution: Shahbaz

The most awaited visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping will usher an economic revolution in Pakistan, said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday while talking to the Mayor of Chengdu.


He said that the whole Pakistani nation was waiting with baited breath to give a historic welcome to the state guest.

He said that China always stood by Pakistan in times of adversary and Pakistan was proud of having China as the most committed friend.

He said that the Chinese president’s visit would open vistas of opportunities for investment, which will trigger strong economic activities in Pakistan.

He said that the under-construction energy projects which are being undertaken with Chinese help will start producing electricity by 2017 and enough power will be added to the national grid to rid the nation of menace of load shedding. He said that power crisis was the main hurdle in the economic progress which will be addressed at the earliest.

The Chendu mayor, on the occasion, invited the chief minister to visit his city, which was accepted by the chief minister.

OFFICIALS OF INVESTMENT COMPANIES MEET CM:

Meanwhile, senior officials of big investment companies associated with public and private sector of China called on the Punjab chief minister in Murree on Saturday. Issues related to investment in Pakistan particularly in Punjab in energy, transport, infrastructure and various sectors were discussed in the meeting.

Talking on the occasion, Shahbaz said that the visit of the Chinese president to Pakistan is of historic importance. He said that besides a splendid project of Pak-China economic corridor, this visit will also accelerate the ongoing projects which are being undertaken with Chinese cooperation. He said that for the first time in the history of Pakistan, China is going to announce such big economic projects for Pakistan. The chief minister said that the credit of big Chinese projects for the economic development of Pakistan goes to president and prime minister of China and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He said that everlasting relation of Pak-China friendship is writing a new history of economic cooperation and the visit of the Chinese president to Islamabad is of great importance in this regard. He said that due to the visit of the Chinese president, new era of development and economic cooperation will usher in Pakistan and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government will remove darkness from the country with the cooperation its sincerest friend, China. He said that the journey of development and prosperity will be completed with hard work and commitment.

He said that during the visit of the Chinese president, the agreements of $ 20 billion will be made only in energy sector.

He said that there is no example of such an extraordinary investment in the history of Pakistan and these agreements are unique. He said that the coal based energy project in Sahiwal is a revolutionary step in energy sector in Pakistan. He said that the 1,320 megawatt coal based power plant projects by Chinese companies in Sahiwal will prove a milestone in eliminating energy crisis. He said that the coal based power plant projects in Sahiwal will start generating electricity by the end of 2017. He said that setting up of coal based power projects is the biggest project in the history of Pakistan which will be completed speedily. He said that China has supported us for the development and progress of the country and we will fully benefit from the technology, experience and expertise of China.

Speaking on the occasion, the members of Chinese delegation said that the visit of a high level Chinese delegation to Pakistan reflects that Chinese companies are serious in extending cooperation and ready for investment in Pakistan. They assured the chief minister to extend cooperation in energy, transport, minerals, infrastructure and other sectors.

Yup FDI is if a company invests not a country.... Plus it has controlled regulations and terms which benefit the company and the country both. This is called donation and usage because you yourself aren't capable of doing it.

Incorrect. It's FDI if it comes from abroad. It's a handout, like the ones India receives, if it comes in the shape of a loan or is specifically allocated as a grant under the host country's foreign assistance rules and regulations.

There is no outer limitation in the definition of the term which suggests that FDI can only come from a registered company and not from a state-entity. Investment primordially means an act of devoting time, effort, or energy to a particular undertaking with the expectation of a worthwhile result; Which is what China is doing at a national level because there is a strategic return which it seeks to reap - one which we happen to be ready to offer as well. Why can't India ever be happy for Pakistan? Where does all that we want a stable-Pakistan talk go? And that whole "we wish peace and prosperity for Pakistan and have no interest in going to war with it"?
