U.S clearly does not trust Pakistan.
U.S could give Pakistan 100 F-16s for free and that still wouldn't bridge the gulf that is between the U.S and Pakistan compared to the brotherly love for China
even with 100 F-16 would not be enough for Pakistan and China agree to India NSG. just not happening at any cost.

A carte blanche had been given to the americans since 9 / 11---for the killings of 3000 americans----and the americans have utilized it to the maximum and there is no stopping it in sight.
Resulting in the murder and deaths of over 4 million mulsims at the hands of either the U S military or thru their governments that they have forced in those countries.
I have written many a times---pakistanis are a stupid nation---only thing they can do is land grabbing ---stealing---cheating---and all other crimes---but have no clue about strategy.
I told them don't let the american christian military into a muslim country---just go in and kill Osama Bin Laden and hand over his dead body to them.
The reason being---once the U S military got in and started killing---it might start liking the killings---and it will seek justifiable pleasure in doing more killings---and it would become a never ending cycle---because there is NO REMORSE NO CONSCIENCE involved when the americans start killing.
Why---because they have given it a name---killing BAD GUYS---and killing bad guys is justifiable---because all the video games say so.

Let us just all keep in mind that US policies must serve US interests, as do Pakistan's policies for its own interests. That is the way it should be, of course. Expecting USA to do what is right for Pakistan is mere naivete. The goal of international diplomacy is to align interests for mutual benefit. It is a success where this is possible, and failure where it is not, and the cycle keeps on repeating. A simple concept, really.

Sir----you make it sound very simple---and it is not like that in the real world---.
If such was the case---then the U S would never would have supported Israel---but it only brings anguish and problems.
The issue with pakistan is different---the problem is that the pakistanis have screwed themselves hard to be in this position---.
What was mathematically not possible to achieve---the pakistanis have done it with their relationship with the U S---.
And there is only one party at fault over here---and that is pakistan---. It would be a different world if Gen Kiyani and Gen Pasha had stood up in front of a tv camera and stated that we helped the U S carry out the raid at abbotabad.
We turned the lights off the city half hour before the raid---we stopped military from going to that location---and even when there was a massive explosion and fire when the helicopter was destroyed---we still kept the forces far away---and waited for 45 minutes more when a rescue chinook came to pick up the remaining navy seals---and then we let the slow moving chinook fly out as well.
