How do you know that it is beef????
bow bow...I can understand your 'love' and 'care' for Malayalis and Kerala...Why should I take away Kerala's effort in fighting Tipu ? fact still remains Tipu converted 25% mallus into muslims. It is an indicator how vulnerable Kerala was and IS.
You are not the only mallu in town so go easy on the nativities.
Valid argument. However, maybe this guy is known for eating beef hence the caption!Social media has become the tool ...... Several such pictures are used as propaganda...... some of them are photoshopped, some of them have added with a comment which is just a lie (like in this case) and at times people use this as a proof to win their argument......
Well i know why you deleted the article within a minute of posting it (You knew you'd made a blunder because the first few lines proved you wrong.)Which one? I was trying to make it more readable
Economics of beef is that India leads the world in beef export and it fetched India Rs.13725.23 crores in 2012. And the cows slaughtered for beef 're definitely not the milk giving ones. Now understand this the researcher is a Westerner. His input as to Hindu texts and its association would necessarily be taken by the existing discourse in the country which is molded by Marxists, JNU type wallah. So obviously he is going to cite them. Anyway the research paper was not about Hindu history but about the economics of the cow, so I dare say his focus is on that rather than history.
Arreyyy its not about our texts and scriptures, its about common sense. Ever since the caste system was introduced some sections of the Hindus (like kashtriyas) were free to consume meat as they needed more calories for carrying out strenuous work. Infact kashmiri pandits, maithilis and south kanara brahmans 're all heavy meat eaters. (This must be the 6th or 7th time I'm posting this fact on this thread).Madamji, read well. The vedas don't prescribe beef eating. What you were fed all these years was Marxists and Western Indologists translations, who created Aryan races and many such things out of thin air.
Could be, I have no idea what he eats or what he not. The point was only based onthe picture postedValid argument. However, maybe this guy is known for eating beef hence the caption!

And if you didnt know the total consumption of beef in India per year is 26 lakh tonnes as compared to 6 lakh tonnes of mutton and 14 lakh tonnes of pork. This was a survey conducted by UN and beef turned out to be the most preferred meat. (chicken was excluded)
Farmers in Vidarbha dont use many cattle so how would banning cow slaughter help 'em? Why doesnt Maharshtra govt concentrate on other aspects of farming and irrigation??

Can you expect a pure vegetarian to survive in the harsh winters of Russia??
1) In harsh winters meat is prolly the only food you'll find.
2) Meat is needed in harsh climates as it helps the body in producing more heat.
But again, if you're talking about strenuous work you'll need more protein and ergo more meat.

What the hell is Valentine's Day and how does it fit in the Indian scheme of things? Where did it come from? What is it doing here?
The furore about Valentine's Day is beyond brain dead. Urban westernised anglicized zombies. The intellectually undead.

bow bow...I can understand your 'love' and 'care' for Malayalis and Kerala...
Some of them were forcibly converted to Islam by Tipu,agreed...But calling all Malayali Muslims as Tipu converts shows your 'always barking' sanghi mentality...Malayali Muslims are one of the ancient Muslim groups in the Indian sub continent..Islam reached Kerala shores as early as 6-7 th century AD..Heck even the VERY FIRST mosque in India 'Cheraman juma masjid 'is in Kerala....

You fail at sarcasm and satire man.
Valentine's Day is a corporate scam. Period. A scam perpetrated on guys with the connivance of corporates and womankind.
As if that was not enough, we have Dhanteras. Where we have to perforce buy gold.
Then there are anniversaries. Seeing anniversary. Smiling anniversary. Meeting anniversary. Kissing anniversary. Doing anniversary (ok this one is for the guys ....). All sorts of anniversaries.
Then you multiply the above by the number of girls you know .....
Coming back to Valentine's Day. Its a Christian festival. That corporates (and women) the world over have jumped on the bandwagon and given it a secular hue does not change that.
It is neither from this soil nor fom its people. Are we waiting for a religion that has probably spilled more blood than any other to teach us about love? Us who have taught the world more ways to pleasure a woman than there are days in a year?
Get real!
