I saw recent polls which stated that Turkey is the most loved nations out of many Muslim countries in the Arab world.

I just want to know that, we all know how Israel is hated in the Arab world and for the right reasons. But why is Turkey, a country which recognized Turkey right away, more loved than say Iran and Pakistan which risked their existence for the Arab people by not recognizing Israel (Iran, Pakistan) and fighting side by side with you (Arab-Israeli war where Pakistan was involved, and what Iran is doing to this day).

. . .
where is the link to poll. Also arab does not mean all muslims.

.
about the Pakistan part, I don't agree with your conclusion that the Arabs hates Pakistan !
yet on the Iranian part, then yes Iran is hated among the Arabs and I'm not talking about GCC, but about the entire ME !!

basically because turkey minds itsown business and doesn't try to spread its "revolution" and values to us !
and one other reason is the Turkish TV shows :D

TURKEY is secular... PERIOD !!

not really, Arabs in general are religious people and the recent elections in Tunis, Libya, Egypt, Kuwait and Jordan shows that the Arabs are addicted to religion.

U mean muslims in secular countries are not religious ? wow ! that's an awkward conclusion...

ontopic : Turkey doesn't try to poke it's nose in other's business and have a vibrant culture .. maybe that's why loved/liked.

most often than not, a country being liked has a lot to do with soft power which is more about culture rather than religion.

In 1258 AD, abbasid capital of Baghdad had been razed and the office of the khalifa of islam taken over by the turks.

Many of the traumatised escapees carried with them vivid memories of turkic destruction.

. . . . .
The mix between their Islamic identity and secularism/democracy.

Turkey is a role model for the Muslim world; a secular and semi-democratic country with a fast growing sophisticated economy. The kind of Muslim country that the West can depend and count on.
