No one's perfect and he never claimed to be a saint. God knows I have my reservations about his ability to manage foreign relations. However, the biggest challenges facing Pakistan are of domestic governance: extremism, corruption, law enforcement, etc. and, on these matters, he is far and away the best candidate.

He understands what I wrote before: that Pakistan's future lies in moderates guiding the country back from extremism rather than letting the hotheads on either side plunge the country into civil war.

Replace plots with 'plans', but what angeldust said is true. Many do feel that Imran and his party are just beardless and better looking versions of the traditional hardliners.

All I am advocating for Pakistan is what is already present in the West: a democratic process, a society reflective of the wishes of its citizenry, and Constitutional protection for minority/individual rights.

You failed to mention another important thing.. close to perfect literacy. When there are more Shepard's than sheep. Someones gonna get a hurting really bad..
