Well, the unscrupulous missionaries will be hounded. It may sow fear into the other Christians. But the fear is irrational. Had it been real, we are man enough to make sure such voices like - 'I am feeling threatened' are muzzled.

Now why should the largest religion in the world (Christianity) come here and try to kill off existing belief systems like Buddhism/Taoism/Confucianism by saying me and my family are "pagans" who will burn in Hell for the rest of eternity?
If I went to some guy's face and said he and his family would be tortured for all eternity, well I would get into a bloody fight wouldn't I?
Luckily no one wants to hit a missionary/priest/monk, so they get away with it. But it is still incredibly rude, do I go to other people's countries and tell them their Gods are fake and that they and their families will burn in Hell for all eternity?

Who started this generalizing? An ex employee attacks a church and everyone cries that their life is in danger and they don't feel secure in India. I have nothing against average Indian be it of any religion but when people like a retired IPS officer falls pray for Missionaries propaganda I do have the right to ask what kind of things have been allowed by the "Silent Majority" in the name of secularism in India.

Ah ..It's the same with all religion. Each religion has it's own fanatics and those who fall in their trap. But fanatics among the Christian community is comparatively low . I personally had more Christian friends than any Hindu or Muslim and truly felt that they are the most liberal amongst all religious communities here in India. After witnessing all the mess created by biggest minority community here, only increased my respect for our fellow Indians belonging to Christian faith.
We got a story of one village from Haryana few days ago. No Christian family in the whole village, buys a plot of land on the pretext of constructing a house but starts building a church and begins preaching to laborers.
Fanatics are working underground harvesting souls but when confronted their lapdogs cry wolf on top their voice and catch eyes all over western world. And as far as the mosts liberal are considered? Look no further from the person who wrote the article in the opening post. A celebrated IPS officer write an over exaggerated article just to catch more eyeballs, at behest of Church. And main stream media swallows it like an obedient b!tch.
Well you would be surprised to know that i lived with Christian families, in a Christian neighbor hood with my home being few meters away from a beautiful Church for most of my life. I never ever felt any kind of religious bigotry propagated there.
