India has no other choice, but become Front State of Cold War.

The best choice India has is mending relationship with Pakistan and China. So that India has the flexibility on both side, and better development environment, especially on national security.

My bet, India will seek peace with China in next couple of month, and alienate US and Australia, appease China.

Modi made mistake, China give a punishment as a warning. If Modi goes even further, India will be in a very pathetic position.

If India challenged US, massive investments from China would come to India too, invested by Chinese companies. As I said, China's investments would focus on infrastructures, electricity, communication, manufacture. Which is more important for India than your IT investments.

Communist China , from past 6 months or so has over played their hand. they strained their already volatile relations with almost all neighboring considerable powerful nations . Like Japan , India , Philiphines , Vietnam. And even towards western nations , such as US, Australia, Canada, UK.
