India's only contention about CPEC is that it passes through a disputed territory that India claims to be hers. India had lodged protest over Karakoram Highway also for the same reason.
Chinese have created this artificial paranoia about CPEC being sabotaged by India because the moment India is mentioned pakistanis will blindly support the project and make it a prestige issue to complete it. They have understood the pakistani psycology very well and ensured that Pakistanis discuss little about the viability of the project.

Why would a insignificant corridor within Pakistan block a sea route used for thousands ?

India aside the gulf states themself will put a embargo on Pakistan if try to damage their trade roots to allies . Iranians will just laugh if Pakistan thinks they can influence them over India.

Are you thinking the Gulf States will side with India and abandon Pakistan. Chinese Navy will be stationed in Gwadar Port and in a War Scenario with China and Pakistan what will happen to India. All Indian Oil Supply will be blocked due to Chinese and Pakistan Navy and India can't do Surgical Drama over here.

But CPEC gives China strategic and geopolitical depth in that it bypasses the Mallacca straights and gives China a lifeline in times of war in order to continue to get oil, fuel and other vital resources to keep the country going. Otherwise they could get blockaded and choked. Hence plans for the Chinese navy to have a presence there.

but what about the corridoars wia burma which saves at least 4500 Km of road transport and open in bay of bengal bypassing all of the mallacca straits and south china sea and is just over 500-650 Km from eastern parts china ... tell me where would you invest more @maroofz2000 please explain it or your last diagram fully

India is a poor country and massive industrialisation and urbanisation is needed. Why Pakistanis and Bangladeshis bring poverty and toilet figures. Are you atleast a middle income country , dont you have poor? The fact is it is pure jealousy. India is far ahead of Pakistan in water security, investment, industry and higher education. These matter for growth. With time and education poverty will decrease.

You can feel good about your toilet stats and have a good time there. But the fact is your GCI is below Zimbabwe. Pakistan has 40,000 madrasas which were very few in 1947. Pakistan is one of the most water scarce countries in the world. Its a country whose citizens believe they make jets while it is yet to design a moped engine. The only significant institution in Pakistan is its army. India has just over taken you in per gdp capita figures after we got rid of socialist policies with liberalisation and globalisation of Indian economy. And you can see the difference, while Pakistan begs for 8 fighters the same company is making all effort to make india its global supply centre. Just wait to see the gap after 20 years. While Pakistan has all its aspirations on CPEC. India is making effort to improve in every direction but still we have a long long way to go but India is on the right path.
