Why a Pakistani man living in Canada (permanently?) is quoting an article written by an Indian(?) for a foreign magazine? Is the OP is planning for a trip to India in near future and thinks I will not go there if India is not cleaned?

Readers of The Diplomat will note that this has been a busy week for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While he spent the first half of the week marketing his government’s message in the United States, he spent the second half of his week beginning campaigns to inform Indians about his domestic plans.

Like dear @Imran Khan mentioned it's problem with South Asia (excluding Sri Lanka, they are much better). People live in filth not by choice but by compulsion. If necessary facilities provided things will change. India is dirty we recognize it and will eventually change!

I'm not sure your outburst is a product of sincere concern about welfare of Indian (humanity) or just a typical troll attempt.

Let's try not to be hypocrites. .... See your country by yourself ...

What is wrong with you mate...... When country's Prime Minister speak about it during his Independence day address, and he reiterate it on an address in foreign soil, you think we ignore it???? There are several threads in which this has been discussed....And if you think we Indians are not aware of it, then you are living in your own world...... Check the number of threads opened on this issue....

Btw I have no issues if you want to open another thread and troll in it..... We indians has taken this problem seriously and we have started working on it, It will take time to see the results..... Till we find the ultimate result you can keep opening threads and satisfy your ego.....

I dont understand why there is so much negativity in these threads.. The Indian PM himself have taken on the initiative, which is great.. How many of the naysayers or the leaders of their countries have done their part to clean up their environs ? It also shows that the current Indian leadership have not ignored the critical issues of the country and not just focus on selected advancements for glory hunters to crow about

And it's not like majority of the Indians here are disputing the problem.. They do acknowledge it exists (Except for maybe your usual few teenage keyboard warriors), But their govt is trying to do something about it although it will take a lot of time and effort,It's a start

And that should be applauded not put down
