India is a failed state. Manipur is under civil war and the remaining of the country may descent into one at any given point. Highest poverty rate in the world and it doesn't take much for that country to go up in blaze really just few details we both know it and things could go into a forever civil war. It has larger poverty then the whole world combined that is a fact and in India poverty is a way of life and normal except for the 1% who live in an alternative life alltogether

I have visited most of the countries in Asia including India and I can tell you that India needs atleast 100 years to hit middle income. India needs to do major overhaul and infras is need also.

Besides India is not a country but a continent which makes things more difficult. It is as if sub-sharan Africa was one country

India has lifted a huge number of people out of poverty in later years. More people than the entire population of Pakistan in the present. You can add more countries in the formula to touch the count.
