Well for one, India is capturing historic Chinese territories and hosting governments in exile while China is fighting a resistance war in Ladakh on the backfoot and struggling to counter the Indian economic containment of China.

For 2nd, India is conducting assassinations across the globe of dissidents. China is wooing her dissidents back into the fold.

For 3rd, people are abandoning India en mass, while Chinese are not.

Happy to be proven wrong if Chinese suddenly appeared on Tiger Mountain in Kargil.
