National security is Central Government's jurisdiction.

The most recent official figure was released in March 2016. There were 2.7 million refugees plus 152 thousand babies were born. Predicted figure is 4 million refugees. They didn't set a date for the prediction so I guess they believe the number will plateu around 4 million refugees.

Of course this situation effects local lifestyle and economy drastically. Flat rents are up, salaries are down. Syrian refugees works undocumented so the business owner doesn't pay insurance or income tax for the employee which makes them 35% cheaper even if they get the same salary with a Turkish employee. Besides since they are undocumented minimum wage laws can't be applied to them and syrian refugees tend to accept jobs even if they pay half the minimum wage allowed by Turkish laws.

This creates a huge problem especially in low value added services and manufacturing jobs. There a lot of protests against Syrian refugees.

They hated the illegal Indians, faked low caste Indians guts for damaging their images in HK

It is strange why the HK Govt itself cannot throw these Asylum Seekers (AS) back to where they came from - be it India / Africa / other countries of South Asia. All the HK Govt needs is to liaise with the Indian Consulate and other consulates of such A.S and make it clear that they are not tolerated.

How difficult is that? Why should HK taxpayers (many of them who are Indians themselves) have to pay for some fictional cases of Asylum seeking turds?
