This is the list of some Pakistani Missiles:

Abdali Ballistic Missile:Named after Ahmad Shah Abdali.

Ghaznavi Missile:Named after Mahmud of Ghazni.

Ghauri Ballistic Missile:Named after Mohammed Ghori.

Babur Cruise Missile:Named after Babur.

This is the list of some Major Pakistan Navy Ships:

PNS Babur - former HMS Amazon; commissioned into PN in 1993.

PNS Jahangir - former HMS Diadem; commissioned into PN in 1957 and converted to training vessel in 1961.

PNS Shah Jahan - former HMS Active; commissioned into PN in 1994

PNS Alamgir - former USS McInerney; commissioned into PN in 2010.

As you can see, the Pakistan Military has a theme of naming their Naval vessels and missiles after former Mughal,Central Asian,Arab rulers.
Pakistan has a cruise missile and a Ship named after Babur.

But why hasn't Pakistan named any of its weapons after the most illustrious and greatest of all Mughal rulers, Emperor Akbar?

Is it because Akbar was much more secular in nature than the ones mentioned above and hence any weapons named after him would be against the theme of Pakistan?

The question is why has India not named anything after the above people, also why not after akbar since he was so great and secular and pro Hindu?.

one thing i read just 2 days back seems it goes against what you saying here.

Narrated by Bukhari, Muslim, Ahmad, Tayalisi, Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, al-`Adni, Abu `Awana, al-Tahawi, al-Hakim, and Bayhaqi.

Akbar never believed in TNT and was strong proponent of co-existence.

There is a difference between saying something in 'dissimulation' and creating a new religious doctrine of one's own ! I can see the impeccable wisdom in the Prophet's words and I agree with it wholeheartedly but have you forgotten what his first Caliph - Abu Bakr did when after the Prophet's death numerous such examples popped up ? *Rid'dah Wars*

Akbar never believed in 'democracy' either and instead believed in the 'divine right of kings' to rule ! Perhaps we should revert back to that as well ! Aur 'Bhabi Jaan', you still haven't a clue what the 'TNT' was...do you ? *Hint : Nothing to do with co-existence or the lack thereof*

Prove that India is secular by name...you people are seriously brain washed.....do you even know how many Hindu extremists are there....and how many have they killed.....there are more % of minorities in India than your country, so its pretty clear they are living and growing unlike other countries where minorities % is getting decreased day by day....
