Why don't we learn from Pakistanis?

Pakistan has the edge.

Do you intend to invite Lewi Zainabyoon so that they can protect Muslim heritage sites in India?

You can do a keyword search.

Wonder if you are incorrigible like that Sindhi founder of Pakistan said.

Agree.

That's why we come in from your Muslim flank.

The thread is about Pakistan not accepting Indian Muslims not Bangladeshis and suggestion of India replicating the technique to deal with Bangladeshis. Are the wordings in the thread confusing?

BTW tell an Indian Muslim name who want to settle in Pakistan?
If there is none.. Then why this question?

Iran and India should sit and talk about CAA then don't you think?

we can facilitate your talks. no worries

Careful. Your anti Iran bias is showing.

You have more than one Muslim flank.

Honesty is appreciated in Pakistan.

We have 2.5 advantage. It is our prerogative on what we do with you.

In an ideal world, 200 million Indians starting out with similar territory and resources in 1947, would have been further up the road.

@abcxyz0000 Even though I am a Hindu Nationalist, I have a different view regarding shelter to the Indic people....it differs from the present mainstream opinion and the original post...So I will keep out of this

Indian Muslims don't want to settle in Pakistan. But many Indian Muslims want to give Indian land to Pakistanis.

Again, no Indian Muslim wants to go to Pakistan but Pakistanis have a contingency plan nevertheless. Why not adopt that plan for our own context?

That is a fairytale wishing well concert.

It would be best you left the financials and admin and nation building to the Hindus, and kept federal control and a Muslim army .... history is replete with such arrangements.

Not everyone can build and run nations.

Most everyone can fight.

That never worked before as well. It only worked when will of one Man was greater than all others inhabitants of the region.

You failed to sell this dream to Pakistanis in the 1950s. Now its too late.

We have better plan for illegal immigrants. NRC is way better than what Pakistan's plan.
BTW we don't follow a failed state in every aspect. We have 1.3 billion people which makes India different than other countries. So we have to make different and more broad plan for everything.

The issue of Biharis is something state of Pakistan would have solved long ago but somehow never got solved.
Pakistan has given immigration to people coming from Afghanistan and even from Iran (including the political asylum). Which makes a good point that Pakistan doesn't have an anti immigration policy. Punjab has been at the forefront to accept people from everywhere i believe Biharis never got the immigration because they were in Sindh (Well this is my thinking, it may be wrong) and historically speaking, Sindh always had a problem with people coming from elsewhere.

I keep hearing from Indian posters that No Muslim from India wants to immigrate to Pakistan (which is correct) however the reason they believe is absence of persecution. However the real reason is absence of economic incentives. Just like a Pakistani would not immigrate to Afghanistan or Sudan and an Indian to Pakistan or Bangladesh.

Just for the record, there is a rise in Indian Asylum seeker in West and most of the claimants cite the issue of persecution for the asylum.

For India, in the 10 years between 2008 and 2018, the total number of such people rose 996.33 per cent. These are Indians who have requested political asylum in other countries on the grounds that they feel fearful to continue living in the country.

UNHCR reports show that despite being the world's largest democracy, India is not a popular destination among political asylum seekers.

For example, in 2018 there were 35.03 lakh political asylum seekers in the world but only 0.34 per cent of them (11,957) sought political asylum in India.
