I think they got the paramilitary part wrong. We sent paramilitary for guarding the Indian embassy and consulate offices in Afghanistan; not to deploy them against Chinese in the bordering region.
Pakistan should also go fir rebuilding of Afghanistan and make them self reliant and educated nation. Taliban are not suitable for running modern nation states. Pakistan should help afghans to get rid of stone age mullahs.
Good thought but then if Afghanistan becomes peaceful and India and Pakistan normalise, who will ask anything to their Army which remains the power centre in Pakistan?
Without an enemy, there will not be any heft given to PA and GQ Rawalpindi.
And that is not acceptable now, isn't it?
Imran Khan is trying to do some good there but if it continues this way, he won't be finding much success despite hard work.
