Yeah ride a bike the whole day long and then go to the nearest Super-Market to get a month's supply of 'Fair and Lovely' or some other whitening sh*t like that. No women generally don't ride bikes...but apart from the well-off families the women in almost every family that has a car, are the ones that drive it around the whole day ! Women travel by buses, by the rikshaws, the qingqis and the vans. So there isn't really a restriction of sorts, in my opinion, its just isn't something that they're normally seen doing though I've seen a couple of women riding bikes and others riding bicycles ! I suppose if we had any 'scooters' barring those old Vespas we might see more women going for this or maybe not.

I am not aware of any laws that specifically bar women from riding motorbikes. I think it is just the cultural thing as women in Pakistan prefer deiving cars over riding motorbikes.

Brother in pakistan if you can dare then you can wear a bikini also. There is no law stopping them to drive bikes or wear anything they want to wear.

Qingqi... an unusual name.

Such machines used to run in Delhi too with old Harley Davidson engines. They were called Phat Phatias.

Even now the Jeep Taxis used to replace this service is called Phat Phat Sewa.

But why didn't you replaced cycle rickshaws? In Pakistan you cannot see them.

Qingqi was the company which introduced these type of transport in Pakistan so we call it Ching Ci to be exact.......

It is helping alot of peopl to earn their livelihood by driving these public tranport motorcycles.......

Bike is not considered a Lady's transport but some ladies do ride motorbikes. Scooters and Cars are preferred to motorbikes for ladies because they don't have to have their legs dangling over both sides. It's considered an inappropriate way to sit for women.

I've seen several women drive motorbikes in Khi, but that's it, not a multitude though. It's contemporary culture that's all.

There is no law in Pakistan stopping women from driving bikes. It's a personal preference. But again Express Tribune is a joke and should not be taken seriously.

The only problem here is people will stare at them if you can handle it then no problem and there is no law to stop them to ride on bikes.

About cars the view is totally different. A lot of girls drive cars.

It's not popular nationwide. perhaps in eastern states like Uttar Pradesh,Bihar,W.Bengal and Delhi :/
