Why Bangladesh’s Matarbari port is a game changer for India

Growth and trade relations for all countries is based on relations which are even-keeled.

If Indians keep exporting $50 Billion to us while we export $2 Billion to India, this cannot continue.

Parity in trade must be established.
What can you export that we need it desperately? Parity in trade is possible when you increase your basket of goods.

If parity is not possible then India can offset the negative impact of trade imbalance through investing more in BD. That's not being done yet.

Typical mullah charity mind set!!!

Instead of proactively making things that India and China want to buy - they whine about trade deficits!!

China has given tariff free access to 99% of goods.

But Bangladesh exports even less to China than India.

Madrasa education has made them pathetic paranoid psychopaths.

. .
Fake Bangladeshi fifth columnists and flag-fakers as usual singing Indian praises here just like the bhakts they are.

If they had a stake in our people and their livelihoods (which they clearly do not) they'd sing a different tune.

Blaming "Madrasa education" when our level of literacy for 15-24 year olds (gender parity) which actually matters, is clearly equal or better than that of India. So much for "chimp IQ Lungis" and "Madrasa Chap" when Indians are as uneducated as they come.

Clear as day who the fake Bangladeshis are.

Pooh-pooh-ing our apparel industry - where India is (again) a miserable failure.

Don't you think these bhakts would love to boast about it if they had the chance, maybe a $100 Billion in exports?

They can't - because they failed. One more excuse to keep the working classes downtrodden in India.

Acting as if they are some first world country - trying to make semi-conductors. Just hilarious.

This paranoid buffoon sees enemies everywhere.

Unless people agree with him 100% they are fifth columnists.

He has a disgusting fascist mindset!

. .
Actually @Bilal9 was coming around and posting balanced views. Even his elevation to moderate BD related threads was being discussed.

It seems his comments are solely aimed to be anti-India.

He seems to be a Jekyll and Hyde figure.

When he is campaigning to be moderator he tones down.

When he feels like sucking upto Pak trolls - he goes anti Indian.

But we give you enough aid and soft loans to the tune of $10 billion .

In the past eight years, India has extended credit lines worth $8 billion to Bangladesh for developmental projects in sectors including roadways, shipping, ports, and railways. This makes Bangladesh the recipient of India's largest concessional credit lines to a single country.25-Aug-2023

Very little of the 8 billion has been spent.

Commitments doesn’t equal given !!

Mainly because it can only be spent on Gujrati crooks like Adani 😂😂😂

Adani is too crooked even for BAL 🤣🤣🤣

Oh @my2cents bhai - read up and educate yourself. Bangladesh is not only a garments stitcher it was twenty years ago, though that remains a large part of exports.

There are all kinds of things, even high value items.

This 650 liter double door fridge costs around one an a half lakh and has a cold water dispenser.

This fridge is IoT enabled - all fridges made in Bangladesh use local compressors. Compressors are also available for export.

Come on @Bilal9, you can do better.

A. I never campaigned to be a moderator, others suggested (bless their hearts)
B. My ire is NEVER for sane educated Indians, it is more for incumbent Indian govt. (proven bigots) or any bigots (of any stripe).

I am sorry. If you happen to be a bigot - you are indefensible.

Then why your PM is in New Delhi seeking another 9.5 billion dollar loan.

These loans are primarily targeted at enhancing Indian transit with North Eastern seven sister states.

Plus contractors and project workers will be Indian, they will siphon remittances to India

They do not help Bangladesh interests in any way.

You ask us to implement projects to help Indian interests on our dime - does not work.

Then why your PM is in New Delhi seeking another 9.5 billion dollar loan.

Don't give her what she is asking.

This is mainly to help her and her henchmen.
