-What is there to be proud of?
-What has pakistan done for its average citizens?
-pakistan seems like its been a play ground for a handful of elite families that probably number in few 100?
-Why are you loyal to Pakistan?
Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. A glass can be half filled, half empty or both, depending upon how one describes it. I put myself in the realistic ones and from what I observed, you are probably having a pessimistic tone.
You have asked about the pros so I might sound biased but that is to satisfy the question.
- The mere creation, existence and survival is nothing less of an achievement for Pakistan. Let's start with that. Yes, there are certainly a lot of population who isbetter off than us but likewise, there is also a lot of population worse than us.
- Provided a place to practice your religion. Provided you an arguably access to living a humble, dignified and good life.
- I chose to be loyal to Pakistan. No particular reason. Perhaps, because I have affiliation with the land.
only purpose is to be born and live a miserable live and die including members of my own family...
That is your opinion.
There were many countries born around the same time as Pakistan and many countries who were much poorer then Pakistan but they are developed and thriving today and their citizens have “basic” writes like being able to criticize a judge without being thrown in jail.
And there are many countries also gone in the opposite direction. Are you looking for reasons to leave/hate Pakistan or love it?
Becuase I know the basic right of free speech does not exist in Pakistan.
There are always limits to freedom of expression and speech everywhere. Though, it varies from place to place. But there is nothing as absolute freedom of speech. I guess basic right of free speech never exists in its true form.
It’s been 70 years bro.. how much more do these poor people have to wait??
They will have to keep waiting until they themselves don't change. Gog and Magog are waiting since I don't know how many years till they finally get out. There is no specific time for most things. We can not know a precise time frame.
It is our identity but it is nothing to be proud of.. Pakistan has achieved nothing atleast nothing for its ordinary citizens.
Again, that is how you perceive things.
I’ll be proud of my existence the day I do something great.
Everyone has different definition of being proud. I will be contended if I live a normal, pious life and die as a Muslim.
so if your mother never fed you and beat you all the time would you still love her?
My mother would still be my responsibility and I will have to fulfill my duties towards her.
i seen both worlds and countries...exprienced and lived in both... america is better in every way shape and form... they can proud of everything pakistanis on the other hand did nothing... they have nothing to be proud of.
Ok.
a middle class family in pakistan would be considered poor in america.
Does that mean we start hating Pakistan? Many European nations are better than America so Americans should leave and start disliking their motherland or country.
yes there is still some racism around but very little.
So, how bad is bad and how much good is good? Just because the severity or amplitude is different doesn't remove the con. Its like saying if there are 2 people to be killed and you must free one of them, now the first person has killed 1000 innocent people and another has killed, let's say 50 innocent people including your parents and children. I wonder who would you set free? Probably the 50 one right cause he has relatively killed little? so you must be hating the 1000 more.
Anyway, you are free to hold your personal beliefs and thoughts. Just found this good video so sharing.
A Hadith too:
The world is a prison-house for a believer and Paradise for a non-believer.
