What's new

Why are we accusing the COAS?

Bajwa is clearly involved in Western sponsored regime change.
Never before have I heard Pakistanis talking about the Pak Military the way they are now.
I spoke with Pakistani friends in UK and Pakistan and the anger towards Bajwa and Pak forces in unreal.

He needs to be removed for the sake of credibility of Pak Military and made an example of.

Charge him with treason and hang him, he is a traitor to the nation and has compromised the Pak Forces.
Rather then spending time meeting opposition, going to USA and meeting stooges like Khalzadi,
He should have been focusing on the defence of the nation and the near constant attacks in Balochistan.
great news

This is the army, not a political party.

Almost every army officer knows that despite their personal frustrations, army is Pakistan's option of last resort. So unless there is a dire threat to the security of Pakistan, the military will not intervene. Some suggested that possible cracks could appear within the army due to the polarization in the country. Inshallah there will never be such cracks which cause the cohesion of the army to break over a political party losing out. In the past army has seen its chiefs being pushed out, i.e. Jehangir Karamat, then the army saw General Musharraf pushed out yet none of those issues caused the army to lose its discipline. And neither should the army lose its discipline over a political matter now.

The Army is there for Pakistan, not for a political party. The army did the right thing by taking a step back. Had it intervened on behalf of PTI, the other half of the country would have been complaining about the army yet again so it was a no-win situation and army did just right, it stayed quiet and the let the SCP decide.

Army is the one and only constant of stability in Pakistan! I don't care what some members here say but we should defend and deflect critique of Pakistan Armed Forces instead of doubling down on it just because people are jazbaati.

The armed forces don't owe IK/PTI anything. The ones who owe PTI/IK support are its own constituency. This constituency should demonstrate as it is their legal right. Why in the hell are members expecting the army to step into the fray?

Pakistan is not going to get destroyed, PTI has a chance to make a come back. Even if opposition comes to power and resets laws, abolishes NAB etc., PTI needs to reverse the changes. For now, let Shabaz Sharif sort out the economy. Let the PTI go into opposition. It is a healthy vantage point for them.

Lastly, for god-sake, keep the army out of the mud-slinging as it is the only institution which brings all Pakistanis together. They serve shoulder to shoulder with each other in service of Pakistan and this should not be lost on the rest of us who are on either side of the political divide currently.

You really think that army has nothing to do with it ?

Isnt a national security matter is the subject of army and intelligence agency ?

Were they not behind release of maryam and nawaz ?

What were army trucks were doing in islamabad yesterday if army was not behind it ?

Common brother ... Things are not that simple ...

With a broken heart, I have lost all respect and love for the top brass of the army/military.

All my life I defended the army because the jawans and lower ranks sacrificed everything for the motherland.

I supported previous coups - such as the one against NS because these governments were corrupt and treasonous. So many cases against them, so many evidences of their loot and treason yet always got away with it, in part due to their friends abroad and due to corrupt and inefficient judiciary. I always thought that like us, the army was in search of a bold, honest, upright, sincere, patriotic leader.

For all his faults etc there was no doubt that PM IK fitted that mould and was even better because he was erudite, charming, sophisticated, confident, articulate and also carried the banner of true Islam. His speach in the UN alone should have ensured his position within the army and country.

He wanted an independent country, no droning by the murderous Yanks, no bowing to India, deeper relationship with China - the only country to invest in PK when no one else bothered. He fought back against India and won, he managed Covid, he managed the Afghan crisis, his relationship with the central 'Stan countries grew in strength, normalised with Iran and maintained solid relationships with Saudi Arabia, while deepening relationship with Turkey & Malaysia etc. He did not give up on Kashmir, He supported the Palestinians refusing to join the Abraham accords even under massive pressure.

The economy grew by 5.6%, his policies meant record exports, IT, record agri output and massive growth in job creations, remittances and dealing with diffocult cases like Reko Dik. Then the uplift - Ehsaas, the Sehat card ( for which he has a place in heaven already), the scholarships for poor families, the apna housing scheme so people can buy their own properties, the 5 dams being built, more roads than Nawaz Sharif could ever build in his entire life, 5.5 million new jobs, CPEC 2 launched, inducted the J-10Cs, Inducted Naval assets, Bought howisters and new tanks.

No corruption allegations, spoke the truth, stood up to bullying from America, never called us beggars, gave us dignity, glorified Islam by action and words, fought against Islamophobia.

Yet the army with the connivance of the judges ousted him, and have brought back the very people that conspired against them in Nepal, in London, the very ones that called Bajwa a coward and today his actions proved them right, Bajwa turned out to be the biggest coward, et tu Brutus, you stabbed the best leader we ever had.

We love our country just like PM Imran Khan does and will not forget or forgive what you did here against Pakistan.

اگرچہ بت ہيں جماعت کي آستينوں ميں

مجھے ہے حکم اذاں، لا الہ الا اللہ

May this nation stands up against the real culprits who have been behind this coup, acted on behalf of a foreign government.

It's best general Bajwa retires now , the anger is massive, the rift that is being caused between the public and forces is getting larger by the second.

Slamming all the forces outright shouldn’t happen brothers.

They even opened up IHC at 11pm to save COAS arse in case he was fired. And the petition was drafted back in March. But glad most of us will be neutral when army gets bitten in their behind by the very snakes they’ve been raising. And this COAS with his acts is more traitorous than the actual traitors as they haven’t sworn to protect the country unlike him. Everyone knows how army was involved at all fronts just to bring IK down.

All this is happening despite IKs reluctance to name and shame these GHQ sellouts. Imagine if he publicly announces Army’s involvement, that’d be enough to taang their Kanpein for the next decade.

This culture in top brass of forces to meddle into country's internal matters, elected government's decisions, foreign policy is deep rooted. Let's start calling spade a spade. This is not just Bajwa's problem.

That same culture also produced Raheel Sharif, let's also be objective brother.

Recent events have now confirmed that Bajwa is a CIA mole. Look how he has divided Pakistan and the distrust is growing. He needs to be taken out ASAP before he does more damage.

Whi will take this swine out of sugarcane field?

Can't it be that the cheap justice was securing his future on someone else's pay?

Why the hatred towards COAS Bajwa?
Maybe because he is being neutral and also favoured relationship with USA in his media discourse.
