Why are Indians so obsessed over Pakistan?

I came across an Indian defence forum and I've noticed that every other thread on that forum is about Pakistan and hardly any Pakistani is on that forum, its Indians discussing Pakistan among each other. They are even making scenarios on Pakistan, as if they think Pakistan is their's.

I also noticed that in Indian media (newspapers, television, news) they report more on Pakistan than Pakistani media does and again they discuss Pakistan among each other and dream of scenarios.

I dont understand why Indians are so obsessed over Pakistan. I know we've been through three wars and Kashmir issue is not solved but seriously its too much.

I would like to hear from Indian members in this forum.

Hi Omer, i dont know about Indian defence forum as i have never been there, but for sure i can say, everyone can assume or predict any thing they want but the the facts never change. And where it comed to India and Pakistan it some thing out of this world may it be politics, sports or any other scenarios. We keep fighting each other but we will never eliminate eachother bcoz is what (Competition) keeps us going on and prograssing. You can even say we are like TOM & JERRY. They keep fighing but cannot live without each other.

Thanks for replying white_pawn. I didn't open this thread to start a India vs Pakistan fight, but wanted to know the reason for constantly bringing up Pakistan in Indian media and Indian forums.

I did get what you ment, thats why i added this comment in my post bcoz is what (Competition) keeps us going on and prograssing. And its not just Indian media or Forum but it happen on both side. its not all ppls but bunch of some ppls.

To be honest, I dont see it happening in Pakistan media and forums much. Moderators have done a great job keeping this forum clean, I cant find one decent Indian forum without vulgar language and racist remarks towards Pakistanis. Also Pakistani media does not bring up India in negative way that much as Indian media does towards Pakistan. You can watch all the major Pakistani news channels on the internet and will see the difference between Pakistan media and Indian media.

There are some mentally ill ppls on both side who like to spread haterade against each other as its gives pleasure to their mind, and i dont give a crap for these ppls. Let them keep blahring . As most ofter ppls reply to their haterad post and then it continues for a long time. So its better not to reply to these kind of post and ignore them.

Well if you know of any normal Indian forums, please let me know. I would like to have some discussions with normal open-minded people. I dont plan to join any Indian forums with vulgar language against my people and my nation and so far that's all I've found.
