We beat them at their own exercise. Also that doesn't say much considering the "modern western" USAF came dead last.

Anatolian Eagle is far more comprehensive then scrambling/weapons load and dropping iron bombs.

Yes, Arabs had defeated the Tang Dynasty Expeditionary forces.
Because of the war failed, Tang Dynasty stopped the westward expansion.

Neat battle, I didn't know about it, though it does seem more like a battle between Chinese versus Arab protectorates considering the battle took place at the extremes of both empires.

Storng point of modern western armies are in system not individual qualities. As Napoleon said, 2 Mamlukes always defeat 3 frenchs, but 1000 Frenchs always defeat 1500 Mamlukes.

Nezib and Konya battles are pretty modern examples where Arabs showed very well. Many countries who critisize Arabs simply never faced the modern Western armies.

No, I criticize the arabs because their military is trash. China went to war with the US directly once and indirectly twice. When you look at Arab tactics and Soviet or US tactics, you can see the Arabs are just cheaply copying the ”dominant" strategies without putting thought into it, and losing. They're even worse than the South Koreans we stomped to boost our kill ratios.

I know Israel needs to boost its image but stomping arabs isn't the way to do it. It's like saying you're a great fighter by beating 6 year old schoolboys.

To be fair to Israel, there were a lot of 6 year olds to fight in the Six-Day War.

Or simply put the teams that took part in the exercise had varying levels of experience. I wouldn't look to a exercise as a way to gauge the capability of military more then just their activity level.

In Korea China suffered about 10 times more casualties than US. Similar rate of casualties Arabs had during Six Dar war. During Iran-Iraq war Iranians suffered about 3 times more casualties than Iraq.

China - over 400 K, North Korea - over 200 K.

The Arabs are smart tacticians and strategies however their own skill has turned against them since the despot royal families took over. The king puts all soldiers on a healthy diet of fatty kabsa and kebab. The military HQ looks like 5-star hotel and the soldier conduct their daily drill in a large air conditioned tent enough to earn a name in Guinness book records.

Do you think the war dead relatives and friends will not query? Do you know how many reporter in China? Including foreign journalists. Do you think these reporters are the waste?

Wikipedia obviously. He took the US estimate instead of official data which is of course inherently unreliable.


US intelligence sucked during Korea.Before China joined they thought we only had 30,000 troops on the border. In fact there was over 300,000. They were not 100% wrong. They were 1000% wrong.

I don't know why we would need to lie about this. We had millions die in WW2 and that was recorded fine. We're not hypersensitive about casualties of war like the US.

We showed you a photo of the US's own Korean War monument with the numbers etched in rock. Also, Chinese estimates show 183,108 deaths. The US overestimated our deaths by 100%. It's impossible to lie about the deaths because from the 50's to 80's, if your family member dies in a war they get free housing, subsidies and a medal saying "home of a martyr". You think half the families that lost members to a war would accept not getting those subsidies?

I also noticed that the Wikipedia Korean War entry has the US deaths edited lower and lower every time I visit it first it was the official estimate, then it dropped to 45k, now it dropped to 36k
