Who's taking GMAT this year?

Hello everyone!

anyone taking GMAT this year or have taken before , please post your suggestions and opinions here.I would really like to know what's your guide?
I'm currently studying Barrons.I couldn't score well last year because I didn't plan nor prepared as it was immediately after my graduation..The score was horribly poor ..400.. .I wanna give it a serious shot this time.I have taken almost a year off now.First prioirity is LUMS..second's LSE....and a big NO to PU....so what do you guys suggest?

what exactly do u wanna study at lums?...my bro is a student at lums...but he didnt took gmat....SAT is what he did....anyways..forget about LSC....u just need to spend some RS....and u'll get a place easily....lol..

come to IIMs, if you are really so much in MBA. i think place should not matter for you?

I tell you, getting an MBA seat in Lums is as difficlut as getting into PAF... they have only some 80-100 seats per batch....uhve got to be the best...to get into lums for MBA..anyways..best of luck!

Fight ? oh No not at all.LUMS is like top-of-the-line you know(globally considered).Thats not a problem at all.LSE is equally good.and IBA is in Karachi.

Picking a course is very difficult, I am wasting one year now because of that, i'm starting in september this year.

LOL, I haven't eaten those lovely parathes for ages now!
And I would love to start studying, but I have to wait because I simply cannot sign up for a course and join up, I will have to wait, most studies start in September each year, a handful start in Februari over here in the Netherlands.
I've studied Corporate Information Engineering if that's the good translation from dutch.
Simply said, it has something to do with businesses, economics and IT.
I didn't like the study because I was in a class full of nerds and the study didn't appeal to me at all, i'm still looking for one that suits my needs and my likings, it's not easy though, there are so much studies over here.
I will HAVE to find a good study this year, or else my dad will seriously kick my tushi.

are you serious??? I mean you have studied sciences for all of your life and now suddenly MBA?? you wont even get admitted at lums without proper academic background....and I am not too sure but I think they require job experience of 2 yrs...have u done some research?

INTEREST.. that's matter most,isn't it.
i am also from egg. background but i wanna entrepreneur and start my own business.
infect i am an electrical egg. student but i won a B.Plan compilation in civil egg.

Come on Raheel.Don't tell me I shocked you.In a batch of 40 Engineering students 30 would go for MBA, 5 for Masters and the rest would consider it sufficient.Besides...I'm not following those 30 but I believe in a change...You know with an engineering background ..an MBA would add versatility to it.It makes one Jack of all trades,master of none
