England has the best shot at winning the cup. I doubt subcontinent teams have a chance on pitches where the ball swings too much. Batsmen need to have to good technique to score runs. To top that most of the english players having played IPL would already knowing the players of other teams very well.

Pakistan has a very strong batting line up. if they can come out of the love affair with Faheem Ashraf, Hassan ali and their bowling coach Azhar mehmood, then they definately have a chance.

my vote for australia.missing handscomb and turner in the squad.jhye richardson was best against indian batting line up but still australia are favorites.i don't trust smith and warner but still they are a good side.2nd favorite to win world cup is india and england.i think india have more chances than england because english bowling attack is weak.pakistan will finish at 6th or 7th spot.i hope we will win against afghanistan and bangladesh.sarfaraz era will be over after world cup.after winning champions trophy,we lost almost all series.terrible odi record and i hope they will hand captaincy to shoaib malik or hafeez after world cup.i think these two players might retire after terrible campaign in world cup so i hope finally we will give chance to domestic players after world cup.

lol When Pakistani batsman can score 350 score in matches then you can guess how much balls is swinging and how tough are conditions for bowlers ..These are all flat track where bowlers will have tough time ahead . England bat deep but bowling is still average. Team with skilful bowlers will have this worldcup

I did not select Sabbir Rehman and Liton Das in my first team because their odi batting average is in the 20s.
All the batsman I selected have an odi batting average of 30+.

Rubel Hossain was not chosen because his odi bowling average is 33.
However, Shakib al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, and Abu Jayed all have odi bowling averages in the 20s.


Mashrafe Mortaza has an odi bowling average in the 30s, but he is captain and is an experienced bowler.

Mehidy Hasan has an odi bowling average in the 30s, but he provides variety by being a spin bowler alongside Shakib. He also has an odi batting average of 20.

Mahmadullah has an odi bowling average in the 30s, but he is like a sixth bowler. He alsk has a batting average in the 30s.

Mohammad Saifuddin has potential but needs experience. Maybe Bangladesh could play him in their easier matches.

I think Shakib al Hasan by being a left-arm slow bowler with Mustafizur Rahman being a left arm quick bowler provide Bangladesh with variety in their bowling.

Mashrafe Mortaza and Abu Jayed being the right-arm quick bowlers. Mehidy Hasan and Mahmudullah being their right-arm spin bowlers.

Bangladesh are missing a leg-spinner from their provisional squad of 15.
