You may misunderstand, my previous post imply that is the indication that J-20 still not in full performance until at least mid-2017

Which means not only the workers at the final assembly, but also workers from multiple upstream suppliers, failed to get any chance to maintain their skills. Unlike our defence industry ( China, Vietnam), in SK Japan, US ,.. the defence industry utilises the private corporates.
When anyone still buy Mitsubishi Aircon, automobile, home appliances, elevators, commercial aircraft parts... they still have money and their skill trained.

Chinese are simply giving cuts and shapes to give impression that their planes are fifth generation. They do not have fith generation design, they do not have powerful fifth generation aircraft engines nor RADAR nor avionics nor weaponry. They are like other chinese stuff. Cheap copies of renowned stuffs and nothing else. there is a bloody hell of a difference in performance.
