What's new

Who supports the TTP act(s)?

We thank global research to make that assumption from what they quoted Biden said "

Referring to Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Biden said,

“They were so determined to take down Assad and essentially have a proxy Sunni-Shia war, what did they do? They poured hundreds of millions of dollars and tens, thousands of tons of weapons into anyone who would fight against Assad—except that the people who were being supplied were al Nusra and al Qaeda and the extremist elements of jihadis coming from other parts of the world.”

“Now you think I’m exaggerating,” he continued, to emphasize his point. “Take a look! Where did all of this go?” Biden claimed that the US opposed arming these al Qaeda-linked groups, which included ISIS, adding, “We could not convince our colleagues to stop supplying them.”

What's the point? those mentioned are/were allies (mentioned in previous quote) of US, US opposed or not doesn't matter, fact is the she is co-founder of terrorists like ISIS

Now kindly stay on topic. I can write you down a spro TTP/ French terrorist since you avoided the question- if you like

Indian_statedept is free to write down or write up. The fact is those french terrorists are linked to terrorist organization which is creation of US+Allies.

It does matter- language used matters, quoting correctly matters. Just like it matters that you avoid calling the TTP/French guys terrorist too. Thank you for that obvious contribution. Have a nice day.

1. Both want Shari to be the law of the land and pure Muslim only land

Every Muslim believes in the idea of Sharia Law and that concept will never change, however its application and interpretation on what exactly is permissible is another story. Before you comment on this issue, first research on the exact criteria of Sharia Law.

Both believe in establishing the Caliphate in their respective regions

Furthermore there is nothing wrong with the notion of establishing a Caliphate system in the Islamic world, since for centuries it has worked relatively well.

4. Both believe that the prophet has been insulted in more ways than none

Most Muslim's would agree with this point that Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) was insulted and have shown there rejection of the cartoon's by protesting in the last few years. The rest of your points cannot be accepted, because they stand outside the principles of Islam.

The French are a bunch of hypocrites when it comes to the idea of freedom of expression. In 2003 they introduced a new law, which made it an offense to mock the French flag and national anthem. This can be demonstrated in 2006, when a famous French rapper was put on trial due to his lyrics in his soundtracks. If you mock Charles de Gaulle, then you can also be fined and arrested by the French state. The Gayssot Act, forbids people from criticizing and disagreeing with the idea of the Holocaust and you would face jail time. A French court injunction banned a Jesus based clothing advert mimicking Da Vinci's last supper. The display was ruled "a gratuitous and aggressive act of intrusion on people's innermost beliefs" by the French judge. Dieudonne M'Bala a French comedian and satirist was convicted and fined in France for describing the Holocaust remembrance as "memorial pornography".

Moral of the story is that freedom of expression in the western world is selective in nature and the French are hypocrites by having double standards. Does this mean we Muslims support ISIS or TTP, the answer is of course no because they have gone against the teachings of Islam and its scholarly traditions that have been passed down from one generation to another for the last 1400 years. Whether you believe in such a statement is entirely up to you, because I don't give a flying hoot.

You trying to play cute now. If you going to use an off brand site for your source, then qualify it before jumping at the first instance of it hinting your preferred bias.

ISIS are the same guys from AQ in Iraq, its leader was also an Iraqi sunni from that group . Our "allies" are not our dominions, they make their own decision. If anything we can say from this one off site you have found, is - the groups were nurtured by 3 Islamic countries to attack another group of muslims.

Stemming from many comments from this thread Who supports the French terrorists?

And after I read Horus stating the reason the site allows those who support the French terrorists (soft or full on support) from being disqualified from this site here, is because of Freedom of Speech. SORRY Horus for using you as the example, but you did make an important point or distinction which allowed me the confidence to start this thread.

I thought to ask a similar question if the scenarios were reversed and hear your thoughts.

So here it goes below:

Giving the example of the TTP again. How would you react to seeing comments stating " I don't support the killing of the children BUT Pakistan should have adhered to true Islamic ways as a constitution and not insulted the Prophet( that's what TTP feels)".

Commonalities between TTP and French terrorists
1. Both want Shari to be the law of the land and pure Muslim only land
2. Both believe in similar values and pledge either all out support or share values of the ISIS
3. Both believe in establishing the Caliphate in their respective regions
4. Both believe that the prophet has been insulted in more ways than none
5. Both have grievances about how they were treated as citizens of the land
6. Both want only the Quran as the single source for educating only boys ( girls don't get any)
7. Both hate jews and minorities
8. Both believe in violent acts to force their will on others
9. Both believe that non believers should covert or face death

SO- my question is-

1. Would similar soft or full on support of TTP be okay with those who have similar thoughts of support w/ the French terrorists?
2. And what is difference between the ideologies of those of the French terrorists vs. TTP?

@Zarvan please let us know your opinion about TTP.

1. I have done research on your sharia law, albeit not an expert on it. You are free to deploy it in your Islamic countries, just not the West.

2. Again, feel free to put up the caliphate in your own Islamic countries- just kindly not expect it among our western countries

3. Ironically when your prophet himself was insulted, I'm told he chose words and humility towards the offenders vs. butchering them and other civilians.

4.In every case you have cited, please show where there were killed!

Then your chances of seeing that day come true in your country is zilch. What about the rest of the commonalities, because they don't come independent of each other?
My American friend. Muslim Personal law in India is sharia law. There hundreds of thousands of Sharia courts running across the country.

Government does not interfere in the religious matters of Muslims. Implementing Sharia law is possible when Muslims become majority. We will become majority in 30-40 years maximum.

It's clear you shun the obvious i.e. when he says They did it - you take it as we the U.S. did it. Frankly, what he said was true- those 3 countries, against our advice, in their rush to go after your favourite dictator, who gasses his people aka Assad, where in such haste that they were handing out weapons without checking to see if it will fall in the wrong hands.

I was not surprised because most of these guys tend to be immature in their planning. But I understand why such a nuance misses you. Perhaps understandable since you A. you foster and support many groups with similar affinities, and hence you think we do it too. B. You see a CIA conspiracy in everything instead of personal responsibility.

At this point I can see it is hopeless trying to expect you to comprehend. Have a nice day.

Well you better work hard on reproducing by the dozens, to take over what I hear is a 80% Hindu country. Avoid the rug burns:D

Learning the principles and understanding the legal boundaries of Sharia Law takes decades and you have to be guided, by specific teachers on the subject itself. The problem is when a specific Muslim country does have the desire to deploy Sharia Law in its territory, the western world has a terrible itching problem and props up dictators to oppress the population. Where exactly did you hear me speak on the idea of Sharia Law, becoming implemented in the western world? However the reality is that the population of Muslims in Europe has risen drastically, due to immigration, high birthrate increase and conversions of the indigenous population.

2. Again, feel free to put up the caliphate in your own Islamic countries- just kindly not expect it among our western countries

We both know that a Caliphate system would not be accepted by the United States of America. For example, interests rates would cease to exist and oil would not be traded in dollars. Again I have never emphasized that the system should run in the western world.

3. Ironically when you prophet himself was insulted, I'm told he chose words and humility towards the offenders vs. butchering them and other civilians.

You sound like a broken record player, who loves to repeat the same mantra over again. Nobody in this forum has supported the attacks on Charlie Hebdo or at least I have not myself, however we have the right to reject there stance in mocking our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH). There is a clear distinction between the two...now read it carefully.

4.In every case you have cited, please show where there were killed!

Retirement has seriously killed some cells in your brain. You did not read my message carefully. I said that the French are hypocrites in proclaiming the title that they are champions of freedom of expression, because everyone has the right to offend according to there beliefs. However clearly duplicity is at play, when those cases actually point out a more sinister scenario, in which secularists have made freedom of expression available, when it suits there taste.

As far as I am concerned ALL terrorism is wrong whether the terrs are individuals, groups, organizations, or countries. Those who support terrorism are equally wrong. I would never support any terrorists whether they claim to be Muslim, Christian, Jews, whatever.

I believe the world needs to be cleansed of groups like TTP and ISIS.

For my Muslim brothers and sisters I would say to you that when you live in your own home country that is a Muslim majority state you have every right to propagate any laws you deem fit and to elect any leaders you deem fit be it a president or a Caliph. However, when you decide to live in a non Muslim country which has different values and laws to what you may ascribe to you can either abide with those or else go back to your own home country. No one forces you to live in a non Muslim country.

I am not Charlie. While I believe in Freedom of Speech but on a personal level I don't believe in denigrating any religion. However, the Charlie team and the people at the Kosher store did not deserve to be killed for what they did or didnt believe in. There is no justification for this despicable act the same way there is absolutely no justification in the killing of the innocent school children in Peshawar and in countless other senseless acts perpetuated by terrs.
