I think I am a nationalist myself and firmly believe that Pakistan should be kept highest on our priority list. But I fail to understand your correlation with Religion and Science. I think we should embrace religion and use science which will give perfect dividends. Remember remember is a code of conduct for humans, just like any other prevailing laws in world. It does not stop you from doing research in the field of science. I am no Mullah and am firm believer that each person has a right to choose his religion. BTW Islam also does not force acceptance by force. It advocates spreading the teachings and leave it on individual to accept it or not. Yes the only restriction is that a person who has willingly embraced Islam cannot leave it. Therefore, decision to adopt the religion has to be whole heartedly and full faith; not merely to enjoy the benefits of polygamy.

When it comes to code of conduct, Islam is a very flexible and modern religion. Tell me which religion has so explicitly discussed physical relations of male and female. I know some will say Hinduism has, but not as part of their holy scriptures. I cannot discuss details of this aspect on the forum due to forum etiquette. But believe me the religion has given a lot of freedom, which unfortunately has been usurped by these incompetent Mullahs.

Look at the economical aspect. Today science talks about GDP what is GDP in simple words. Let the money circulate and you get higher GDP. Today world is talking about Quality, what is quality of a product. In simple words tell the buyer what you are selling. This concept has been discussed in Islam 1400 years back.

Give me one example where Islam has stopped people to do the research and I will change to the religion which is more versatile then Islam.

I think you have misunderstood me I dont say religion everywhere, believe me I am clean shave (it should speak volumes) lol.

All what I wanted to emphasis is that The Book says, it has knowledge of everything, then it has it. It is only us who cannot understand it or do not want to understand it. See my earlier posts on it I have not preached Islam anywhere.

From the onset you misconceived OP and took into illuminatic discussion I never pitched religion and science against each other. My concept is that science blends well with Islam, may not be the case with other religions.

Yes we could start from there. I am a firm believer that if we have correct leadership having vision, it will take maximum 2 years to turn around economy. I have my own conviction on (again) Islamic economic system (not the one which Mullahs preach). If followed this country will have no beggars. Health and education facilities would be available free to all . Property prices will not be driven by land mafias but public schools of the area. But to execute that current rulers/potential rulers/sweating rulers from political dynasties and feud have to be eliminated.

I do not, have not and will not wish for a socialist utopia... we have to improve the economy... and yes that by connecting people by various means both physical, electronic etc... increase trade and maintain or build a robust capitalistic ecosystem...

Because i believe in a multiracial, multi religious(sect wise) and multicultural society you just cannot develop a socialist mindset. It will take time and till then we have to make sure who works the most gets the most money... kinda brutal but if you look at it practically a poor guy who is applying punctures on a bike sees an engineer on it, would he ever want his son to be one? at least he would not be enthusiastic about it...

People work for things they see and observe in their everyday life...

Leaders ought to be selected on vote exactly as is happening now... this is evolution, it must happen, we ought to get a vaccine named zardari to be free of polio... but in the long the process will improve and is a long term solution... the body of peoples is often not that smart but the cluster does respond to sever external influences over time... just like in our case we've moved to nawaz which is a lot better than the previous gov. and the process continues...
