I am reserving this post now..there are strong indications that after YAŞ (Supreme Military Board) meeting at 30th July where the current CoS will retire and the Land Forces Commander will be the head of the Turkish Military, an operation is underway if not after a gov't is to be formed..

Timing seems too late, I don't expect an operation but we will see.

Your post sounds like American army veterans and supporters whose claim of fame is thrashing the Iraqi army in iraq and Taliban in the early parts of the war in Afghanistan and then strutting around like they have conquered Mt Everest.

The Turkish army does have a lots of training in modern warfare----but the skirmishes that you are talking about----don't count to war between two nations.

For that reason----Israel is the top notch force in the region having fought many a FULL SCALE wars with neighboring countries

Alright Israel is the mightiest force in world even Pakistan can't take on them who follows as number two, and the third one being Egypt, isn't it? I do think Turkey contains most advance and modernized military, sea and arial equipment comparing to all the above listed countries. However, its not in the middle Easts.

Also Egypt terminated its missile project with Argentine and broke off any connections with North Korea in development of long range ballistics missiles in exchange for American equipment.

In other words Egypt's ballistic missile arsenal is not up to modern standards and would not pose a major challenge to israeli anti-ballistic missile capabilities.

The U S military also had the most advanced equipment---but over a period of time it got a thrashing in Afghanistan that may not be repeated in the next 1000 years of coming history.

It got so bad for them that they had top leave with their tails between their legs.

But coming to turkey-----they may have the equipment----but they do not have any combat experience----they may have been involved in skirmishes---but no major war.

Over the years---the Turks have chosen prosperity over war and aggression and that puts them behind Israel----. Israel has seen many a wars and won them hand down---they have better weapons---training---equipment and to top it off ---they have the devotion and dedication to support their cause.

The Turks have no cause for a war against a major power---their identity and their existence is not being challenged----so by default they have no commitment to fight a war to win.

Looking at their past history----they are a force to be reckoned with indeed----but given the current and recent past---Israel is the military that is on the top of the list hands down without prejudice.

I'm not disputing the authenticity of your sources. What im pointing out is that most of them are based on speculation or are outdated or state within themselves that Egypt terminated its missile program with Argentina and North Korea in exchange for advanced American weapons. Saudi Arabia also has contracts for nuclear reactor construction with Russian and Chinese cooperation, that doesn't mean they are developing nuclear weapons. If Israel and the West won't allow Iran to have nuclear weapons, what makes you think Egypt or any other Arab country can secretly develop nuclear weapons and their delivery systems under the watchful eyes of the West, especially considering Egypt receives considerable military aid from America. The last time an Arab country tried to develop nuclear weapons in Israel's vicinity their nuclear reactor was targeted by the Israeli Air Force's airstrikes (Syria).

Secondly, concerning Ballistic Missile, this is from your source (article from 2002):

"U.S. intelligence sources said Egypt is believed to have acquired the No-Dong missiles in 2001. Last year, they said, the Bush administration stopped the planned delivery of 50 No-Dong engines to Egypt."

Now, from the article you posted in your previous post stated that after 2001-2002 Egypt had agreed to terminate its missile cooperation with North Korea and so far nothing has materialized in that field.

Thus it is safe to conclude that Egypt's ballistic missile program was scrapped a long time ago. If Egypt still had an active ballistic missile program they would be testing ballistic missiles every year for validation of operational capabilities and parameters like India, China, Russia, North Korea, America, Pakistan and Israel do.

It is extremely secretive Only rumours.
There is a rumour however that there is gonna be a Parade on the day of the opening of the Suez canal and that we are gonna show off our ballistic missile during that parade although I highly doubt it.
