Actually it was because of Poor Marketing rather than the Performance of the tank.I mean Al-Khalid Perfected Saudi Requirements of Operating in the desert.
And didn't Sri Lanka Bought a Few Al-Khalid.

One can only export items, one is good at making. India is not good at making arms and ammunition, so India exports these items less. On the other hand, India is good in spreading the message of non-violence, peace and love. So, India exported yoga, spiritualism, message of non-violence and Non-Alignment, and keeps to do so.

Can't help, we have been made so over the past 5,000 years.

Don't know about India but from where did you got Figures for Pakistan.

I mean only a single Organization POF canceled orders worth 500 Million dollars in 2010.And it earned a total revenue of 500 million dollars exporting arms in 2008.

I think overall figure excluding JF-17 should be around a Billion Dollars(Could be wrong just rough estimate).

The above link provides the amount of exports from pak which is about $300 million, I dont know where you got your figures of $500 million.
Somewhere I read they were planning to increase exports to $500 million, its not the figure which has been achieved todate.
