Which politician is serious about prostitution issue?

It may be disgusting to you, but not to the man and woman indulging themselves in such behaviour. There are also male prostitutes, so then is it degradation of men as well? I don't advocate prostitution, but I know that it is something that we can never put an end to, it's a very old practice. And speaking of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, let's not even go there. There are far more worst things going on in Pakistan, things that should put all Pakistanis to shame. If a man and woman want to indulge in such behaviour, it is to their own losses. We should not be taking away their freedoms, but instead should take the opportunity to tax this business and use it for some better purposes, instead of allowing all the money to go to someone's pocket. And I know that from our cultural and religious perspective, this is somewhat weird.

But all this corruption in an "Islamic" republic is also weird. All these innocents being victims of terror is also weird. Murdering two teenagers in front of a whole village of muslims (including police officers), who stood there and watched, is also weird. So if we're going to walk straight, then let's actually walk straight.

I know prostitution is never going to be legalized in Pakistan. It was merely a suggestion to try to point out that hey, look, there are worse things happening that a lot of people are ignoring, but then when something that comes directly in conflict with religion and culture or when someone has a different opinion than us on some matters, we are willing to kill to put things back into place (eg. Salman Taseer killing).

So u mean that if people do sin then it is OK to legalize something called Gunnah-e-Kabira on that behalf.

We need to stop degrading our women like West have done in the name of Freedom. If we cannot stop the sin The last thing we can do is condemn a wrong thing or sin in our heart .

May Allah give us Hadayat to live our life according to Islam. Ameen

Prostitution is a very risky business, it has nothing to do with freedom of women. And it is not a western concept, only thing we should learn is how to contain and control it effectively.

Prostitution is actually a great way to make a lot of money. Only make prostitution legal if safe sex procedures are carried out and std and hiv tests are made mandatory for prostitutes on a monthly basis.

Also it's laughable some people on this thread are crying about the Islamic Republic and prostitution. But people don't cry about the Islamic Republic when people blow themselves up, kids are locked in a madrassah and tortured, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan topping google searches for all types of fcked up ****. Looks like it's perfectly Islamic to do that but god forbid if prostitution is legalized.

Oh come on. In south asia, prositution is mostly done due to poverty, most of them will chose better life if they had alternative.
I am not talking about escorts, that is different.

It will never go away. So we should just legalize and tax prostitution.

U r insane man...!In an Islamic country you want to legalize prostitution instead of reducing it...!Pls change your flag your be der in canada n live d kaffir's...!Staying in canada though you don any good for your country don Spoil it....!Do you know anything about islam...D no 786 on your name itself haram you know tat...Sorry to be harsh if i where..Allah hafiz:-)

Regards,
Mohemmed Firdouse.

I remember a program where a prostitute from Karachi was interviewed and asked questions about her "honor"
Her reply was perfect.. that many girls from so called respectable families do a lot more than they offer with their boyfriends.. yet why are these women ridiculed for trying to earn their livelihood when all else has failed.

So you are advocating an act which is "HARAM". Not surprised.

O yes, lets replace our Muslim values with westerns so we never have to worry about following our stupid religion.. right??

Nothing to do with the ISLAMIC republic.

Please define Islamic Republic for me??

Perhaps I am ignorant, but so far your comments are going beyond my head.

\\You proved that even non-muslims have moral values then Muslims like you who will sell their sisters and daughters just to please the world and being an ignorant that you are you are probably gonna accuse me of mullah cra)p. Prostitution is "ILLEGAL" in most part of western world and here we have this ABCD talking about making prostitution in Muslim's land "legal" and encourage pre marital relation...

So you justify prostitution just because their is all sort of corruption in our society? okay, what a smart move.

O yes, lets kick this non sense religious values with our master westerner's way of life so that it does not make us any different then living under Britishers rules.
REMIND ME WHY Pakistan was made? So Muslims could deviate from their religion and become just like kuffers? Hmmm, no wonder why Britishers agreed to this plan.

Your posts proves nothing but you are an ignorant of highest order and even non-Muslim Indians have more moral values then a shamless person like you. So would you sit quite and do nothing if your sister or daughter chose to become one? They definitely have the freedom of their choice?

Prostitution should be legal in Pakistan, so when the daughters of those in favour decide to take a decision towards this career choice, they will remain supportive.

I think it is legal. There is a license for it. Correct me if I am wrong

I'm not sure, but I was definitely being sarcastic.
