They are M16A2. Quite a few being used by IA in NE .... they are the captured weapons which are taken on as ector stores and used locally by units in the area in CI role

I am thinking he first one is m4 with holographic sight....and the second one is very hard to guess.

What is the red band General is wearing in his right hand?

.
Good question. Does not look like a religious thread to me, its too broad. Even the Maroon beret is wearing one.

Whatever the answer, Kasab is still your fellow Pakistani.

.
only an indian can answer in that stupid way.......
from where you drag kasab....
he was just asking the purpose of the red banned .. if you dont know then keep quit. dont spit here

First one is a M4A1 Carbine not a M16A2.They were displayed in the INDRA exercises and are used for counter insurgency.
The other one might be a Mini-Uzi or Micro-Uzi.

The Para Officer (Maroon Beret) has an UZI SMG. That is the barrel of M16A2 or M4A1 both are available in Indian stocks in both SF and Sector stores or regular units but M16s/M4s are not part of regular issue weapons to SF units. The mainstay weapon for majority of SF numbers are H&Ks, Uzis,Tavors and Negev and MV-58s and AK series.

The red band on the wrist of the COAS is post some religious ceremony.

. .
The same which Shia muslims wear in pakistan ask defence.pk member pak-marine for more info.

The shia muslim wear the band is not of red color, rather is yellow and red.

.
The first one probably M4 and second one looks lie a UZI with sight.
