why does god need your prayer little man ?Is god dependent on your prayer? I do live in a free land where ppl can do any thing. (For some one who is an atheist it is amusing to hear ppl claim god needs their prayer, but who am I question others belief. At the end of the day it is still a belief.)

Never saw such a namaz.

The thing is that one can't make changes like that. There is a procedure for this. Yes some I have seen add the raising of hands to ears like a takbeer before going into rukuh and sajdah to please God but never have I seen them remove or reduce the no of sajdah.

As for the spiritual argument. You know if you are going into spiritual then forget prayer and get spiritually connected by meditating. The Islamic prayer is the method of prayer and spiritual connection for Muslims and it is farz upon Muslims to do this form of prayer five times a day ( 6 on a Friday) and if you do not know this then you do not know Islam. Apart from this if you want to talk to God, pray to God by raising your hands or even meditate and focus only on God then you are welcome but you cannot substitute namaz.

I have stated it multiple of times. Religion doesn't need reform, it needs to be followed it its true spirit and word rather than the corruption of the moulvi and power hungry sector that have hijacked it.

The thing is that religion is not just used by the religiously power. It is used by others as well. Case in point. The jali peers who can't even recite the kalma.
To gather semblence of power, religion is a great tool.

This woman is nowhere an inch near the ideology followed by Chekannur and others like him, and Chekannur isn't the founder of this perceived new reformist unorthodox movement.

LOL she is doing sajda like a male. There is a difference of style/position b/w male and female while doing sajda.

No there is no difference in women n mens style of prayer , how they perofrm pristration and rukku. They were all man made rules. They did not even come from ahadees. It was islamic jurists and scholars who made that up. Infact a hadees clearly said dont flatten ur arms in prayer in sajda like a dog does when he sits. People took this hadees and said its only for men ,but hadees is for both men n women.

But there is no such rule that women should keep their limbs closer etc etc they all are self made directions. Also dont use this thing ever as a criteria to check someone is a muslim or not cause many muslim women pray this way. Women from almost all arab countries syria, egypt, palestine, gcc ,lebanon etc and from Wahabi sect of pakistan pray like normal as in dont follow a different praying style for men and women. Because neither is it mentioned in hadees nor quran.

Prostrating is the most submissive of the acts. Irrespective of which religion you follow humans tend to prostrate, bow down to maximum to show their submission.

The way I look at Muslims doing it twice, it is a reminder ........ the more you bow and submit to your lord the more humble you are.

Before that in ruku you say words praising ALLAH ........ and raising from ruku you say "Verily ALLAH listens to one who praises him". Saying ALLAH o Akbar again would be continuity of praising ALLAH, not that its not desired, but things need to be in scheme no without making any sense.

I don't have much pictures and videos to substantiate, but my sources are from a credible set of people. The women's rights movement she is trying to put forward is just a cover.
