When Afghans Look to Border With Pakistan, They Don’t See a Fixed Line

when i see on the other side of the border...i see the fifth province of Pakistan.
in my humble opinion we should form a federation with Afghanistan,,pashtoons will be happy and we shall prosper.
plus we can ship the good for azerbaijan and other central asian republics out via our port Qasim.
form a union with people who are fighting with each other for 200 years

pashtuns and punjabis are not one nation. too much difference. punjabis are more indic, pashtuns are more turkic.

Indian Union consists of dozen of nations - What's your point?

but they are all indic nations. well the NE is slightly mongoloid. but rest is indic. thats why punjabis and indians can be a nation, but punjus and pushtoons cannot .
of course i am not saying pakistan will not survive, stranger things have happened, but its not a natural alliance.

Afghans shouldn't just look but take what it is rightly their own.

I don't Understand Why an Indian Needs to Troll in a Thread about Afghanistan and Pakistan until its Something about India ( Consulates , BLA and Shyt ) .

Union of India is most unnatural alliance on earth

When it is about India, Pakistan pretends they are some sort of Afghan people (though may not use same exact words), they teach history to their kids, select their heroes, use the ruler Kaum argument based on that assumption.
When it is about Afghanistan, Pakistan pretends they are some sort of Indian people (though may not use same exact words) and claim the boundary line which is based on boundaries of Indian empires (British India, Sikh empire etc)
And so the emotional confusion about border on both sides.

Actually, the fault is not of the Afghans -- it is that of Pakistan -- Does or Do Pakistanis actually see a border when they regard the Durand line?? If your answer is yes, then reasonable people can say "Show me" - What has Pakistan done to ASSERT and ENSURE the line is treated as a border?? Allowing multiple entry points in which documentation is anathema? Not Developing proper economic relations (customs union) to ensure that Afghans and Pakistanis do not have to suffer the ills of smuggling??.

Afghanistan is a battered and worn out country, it was never a well to do country - and truth be told, it's economy is actually a part of the economy of Pakistan -- This need not be a negative, and indeed turning this into a positive will completely change the security situation between Pakistan and Afghanistan -- but for that to happen, you will need a security apparatus that sees the national security and national interests of Pakistan in very broad ,complex terms.

Well, we cant look after our present day territory and it has been the proxy battle ground of world and regional powers, how on earth we should have hope for the lost territory. On the other hand, there are other parts as well which we lost to central asia, KPK is not the only one, doest that mean we should go after each of them and declare hostility with everyone? Not really. Hands in heart i can say that KPK people and other guys in central asia have a million times better life than we have, so who will join us in their right mind?
