Thank you bro for this extensive list.

Just reading the list of advanced platforms coming from China, Sweden, Turkey, Serbia and others brings so much confidence to me that BD is finally following the right path in terms of military procurement.

As a lot of us have said here, BD military strength will follow it's economic strength and finally we are seeing the fruits of this plan.

This should give all those who think that BD will forever remain a weak military a dose of reality and put paid to all those who disparage BD as an Indian puppet state.

Yeah BAF is still letting the rest of the military down - BA and BN have excellent plans and are actioning them.

BAF has dithered for far too long and wasted precious resources on "stop-gaps" and excess trainers but I am hopeful that once the order is finally announced it will negate MAF in one go.

Yes as it puts the BN and BD economic infrastructure at serious risk in case of war with Myanmar.

BN ships do not have medium-range SAMs to be able to handle swarms of cruise missiles that the MAF is likely to fire at them in case of war.

Something has seriously gone wrong with BAF and I am at a loss why BD government ever allowed this to happen.

However current trends shows Bangladesh is more inclined towards Typhoons/ Super Hornets purchase which gives them far more lethal punch even if procured in small numbers.... they do have a budget too to purchase such expensive western toys.... now due to Corona issue and to compromise on cost they might go for F16s or MIG 35s.....

JF17 purchase makes no sense as Myanmar already flying it and now know much better about it so Bangladesh will definitely try top it up with advance western fighters ....

No India will not be given access to JF-17 by BD.

Corona issue will not affect what is purchased as long as it does not drag on for more than 6 months-1 year.

Hasina is a cunning woman. Our relationship with India is transactional. It spills from the RSS rhetoric. They are paranoid about Bangladesh. Even one of their leaders was claiming all the rioters in Delhi were Bangladeshis.

Whether it happens with the Armed Forces Hasina still got the ultimate backing from Delhi. Hasina maybe has no full control over the military but maintaining overall soft-control thru some cunning top brass!
