The PN detected a surfaced submarine with its antenna out... a sign of no ill intentions. Not exactly a major coup as far as I'm concerned. It'd be more troubling if they didn't notice it.

In fact, it's standard protocol when a vessel is transiting another's waters, or near to another's waters. We see the same with this Russian Delta IV transiting the Norwegian Sea enroute to Syria.

Antenna extended, submarine surfaced and because it's a ballistic missile carrying boat, hatches open to allow the Norwegian Air Force (which took the picture from a P-3) to view the payload held within.

Standard practice and from what I'm reading on that thread, the IN submarine was operating under the same protocols and didn't want to be viewed as doing anything malicious.

But I also don't know all the details and both sides have an interest in embellishing their story, so take my views, based on Norwegian examples and the thread on the recent incident between India and Pakistan, with a grain of salt too. As more details emerge, if at all, I'll revise my views as well.

And yes I'm calling you Earl Ingstad but I'd be impressed if you know who Earl Ingstad was without googling it!

The Americans like to think Columbus was first, maybe to what is now the United States he was, but the first explorers to North America either came from China or Norway. Leif Erikson is recognized as beating Columbus by roughly 500 years to North America.

A Norwegian, Roald Amundsen, was also the first to explore both the North and South poles.

Like Ingstad, we named a boat after him.

Pakistan claims to have chased the submarine from its waters and has an unconfirmed video to support its claim. Never trust videos, they're easily faked or ripped from other events, so the content has to be looked at carefully.

Until more comes out and each sides story can be examined, I'd take neither as the truth. I was going by what I read on that thread, so I'm likely not right either.

I know that too well. Indians are very smart that way, making fake videos to frame innocent Pakistanis. One day those idiots will get what is coming to them, no matter how many allies they gain and how many fake videos they make to frame innocent Pakistanis of not just terrorism but lack of patriotism. I have seen personally the way they frame our people and it is in no way pleasant. India is an oppressor and all oppressors get what what they deserve.

Actually i've Gloria Jeans as well some 600 meters away from my place,along with a KFC.

What do i do. On one side there is house of extreme mullah who vents hatered for others and on another side there is kuchra kundi

Brother you know your neighbourhood better than anyone of us and the options that you may have got there.But here are few solutions that one can consider.
Talk to person who's creating the problem.After you have exhausted that option use the community and people around you to your advantage.As it's a "house" that you have mentioned and not a mosque.The neighbourhood must stand up for this task as a first step.There can be other neighbours around you who may have to face the same problem.Students/Patients and all the peace loving people....Take a initiative and try to ask for their help.Inform the relevant authorities (Police or any other) against the nuisance and file a written complain with signatures of elders in your neighbourhood.

Now, there is a Kuchra Kundi as well and those things unfortunately are nasty as the waste is mostly not managed properly.That also requires the whole community to step up for the task and request the city development authorities to move that dump to another place away from the human settlements, of course.There too, you need to make a document and file the complain.And use any leverage that you think you can apply.But that can take time.


The last (may be) and rather expensive option is to relocate yourself to a suitable environment.If that is not possible in near future,perhaps start planning about it.As a man, i feel that thinking about the option of resettlement and planning for it should not develop an emotional reaction inside us.There is always an association and you'll always feel that bond.But it's a part of life.And there is another part waiting for you in future that aspires from you to find a good environment for yourself.Listen to that voice.Actually, if i was trapped between the devil and the deep sea, i would consider relocation, as my first option.Since, if you don't have that much leverage at your place of residence and the community is just not there to provide you with a solution, then you'll keep wasting your time in trying different techniques to manage it or get rid of it.That requires a lot of time and commitment as well.And "tme is money".The most precious commodity and the safest of them all to invest in.So, invest in time and you'll never let yourself down.
For every hour you have to bear it, you give up sixty minutes of peace of mind and it keeps on adding up.You can use that time to do something constructive.
