Someone seems to have taken his top hat home brother. Comes into a conversation and soft trolls on you then crawls back from where he came from - poor old man. Perhaps needs one of them really strong Turkish teas to bring him around.

Is it a rule that a Pakistani in the diaspira cannot appreciate good chai or give opinions on this forum.

Pakistan Defence Forum, innit?

Tea, coffee, or both?

I like Tea better in my opinion. I always try to find tea and make one cup of it every time I wake up from bed. I also some time drink coffee as you know man like to have variation in life.

Despite so I like to have coffee when I hang around with my old buddies in Malls. Coffee sold in Coffee shop is expensive but the taste is really delicious. Coffee is the best companion when we have long conversation with friends or our business partner/colleague.

In term of other drinking, there is a new kind of green tea that is mixed with some sort of flavor. Unlike common tea, it is quite tick. It can be found in minimarket around Jakarta, so it is relatively accessible but of course very expensive if we compare it to tea box. Japan Airline also serve this kind of green tea.

Any way, in this midnight I am accompanied with a cup of tea bro while talking to you.....

I used to be big on tea only but nowadays I enjoy both. Although I'm pretty picky about the kind of tea, I stick to one kind. For coffee I try out several flavors and makes. :)

Yup, there are variation of coffee as well, I just had the first experience having coffe with avocado flavor just several days ago.

Before there is Starbuck and other Coffee shops, in Indonesia there are already many traditional Coffee shops, particularly flourist in Aceh region. Beside serving Coffee, they usually also serve meal like Mie Aceh or Aceh Noodle.

In my house we drink ginger tea ( milk ) every evening.

Yup Ginger drink is also good, I just bought around three of them. There is also a drink in Indonesia called STMJ (ES TE EM JE) which is a combination of milk, egg, honey, and ginger. It can be found every where. The drink IMO is match with colder weather and served when it is still hot.

Any dog owners here?

I like to have dog but I just feel difficult to take care of them due to religious issue. As you know their saliva can prevent us from taking prayer if it is not properly cleaned.

I had a dog when I was at high school, actually my uncle who keep it, he took the dog from the street. I had it only several months since my uncle give it to other person after some time. Raising dog is expensive since we need to give them meat or eggs.

That is called matcha, which is a strong green tea made of cut up and grinded tea leaves. It is mixed in as a powder. In Japan, iced coffee is popular, so it is made to be strong like coffee.

In Pakistan, we only drink tea traditionally, even though we border Arab countries across the Gulf which are heavy coffee drinkers.

Yemenis esp are proud of their coffee and tea, and no surprise, they have very good varieties.

Traditionally we drank kava (scalding light green tea) still drank today, but it is drank heavily in Afghanistan and Iran, but we became addicted to black tea when British brought it, and we improved on it on every way.

Very cute puppy. Ma sha Allah.

Maybe I was talking to jamahir about it then. It is from India, Muslims make it.

Fruit teas dont have sugar, as they are dried.

Recently I started making a plain drink with just boiled water and dried flowers. They drink it in Arab countries. Surprisingly Chamomile flower tastes a bit like orange. @Falcon29 maybe knows about it.

Flower or extract? I've drank the chamomile tea before since we do drink it for healing purposes usually. It is not necessarily tasty but anyone gets sick we drink it. With a spoon of honey mixed in sometimes.

Oddly in Arab world we drink one type of coffee and one type of tea. Unless you are in more modern place with access to international chains like Starbucks and so on. Or local chains that offer specialty drinks.

You should try a Canadian coffee chain known as Tim Hortons if you could, I remember when I tried their coffee in Canada it was one of the best. The original blend that is.

Starbucks I personally don't like, their lattes are good but their coffee and special drinks I don't like. Too much sugar and stuff I don't know how people like it.

Flower or extract?

Akhee, flower, I bought it recently from an Arabic shop. It is a new experience. I have been drinking chamomile tea from tea bags for a while, so I wanted to try this once.

I have been drinking black tea with sage as well. Does it have any undesirable side effects? It makes me a bit drowsy actually.
