No us. We're not that dumb. But US Marine are. That video's from last years CR16 exercises in Norway. Pre-exercises actually. The USMC was training in Norway before most other nations got here for the multi-week, multi-national Cold Response 2016.

UK Royal Commandos were also here and helped to instruct the USMC in ice breaking and survival techniques during the same exercises.

Notice how no Norwegians go into the water. In fact they don't go anywhere near it except to make the hole and take pictures of the US Marines and Royal Commandos.

I've experienced that though. Just part of being in the Air Force, only my experience with in the North and Barents seas.

The fact of the matter is, returning to Pakistan doesn't solve anything. There are any number of Muslims in Australia who were born here. Where should they go? And should I leave my Muslim brethren and take the easy way out myself?

Answer the question please- isn't a secular country that does NOT recognize the very sovereignty of Allah the 'basic tenet' of islam and Shahada a Dar ul Kufr? And is willingly migrating to it - be it by any generation- a sin of epic proportions?

When british india was declared a dar ul harb didnt many muslims on the insistence of scholars migrate to Afghanistan? so this is no argument ' where would they go' - ridiculous. There is no justification for a group to live in a society that is considered antagonistic to islam by them. As you said ' Islam is a take it or leave it religion'. Simple!

Dear sir, I will never comment on your personal circumstances and you are bringing it. My point is simple is it Dar ul Kufr or not? Satisfying yourself with the ulema of your choice is good but it does not change the fact. Many ulema vociferously disagree.

You yourself very aptly pointed out that Islam is a take it or leave it religion and personal circumstances are irrelevant then!

How can a secular country that does not recognize sovereignty of Allah SWT not be dar ul kufr? The migration of muslims to afghanistan in 1920s is still a stellar case. Thank you.

@Armstrong have you ever taken any meds that are just a bit too much for you. Like make your eyes go wide and you say "Whoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!"

Turns out my new allergy meds are a bit too strong for me. First my nose got really dry and started bleeding, then I got really hyper - like really hyper, so bad that I wouldn't sit down or stop talking for about 40 minutes - and now I can't see straight and the world seems like its spinning. Oh, and I feel like I'm sitting sideways. I dunno how to describe it honestly. Like I'm sitting upright, but also sideways. The fun thing is that I don't even know what I'm allergic too.

Basically I feel like this just minus the Swede. Unless I start seeing things too!!

Note to self: take smaller dose tomorrow.

You sure you're not popping pills because that sounds unlike any allergy medication I've ever heard of before [emoji38]

Yeah I'm pretty sure considering I'm strongly against drug use of abuse. I've been big into clubbing and still enjoy a night of fun, but never partook in any of the more hardcore practices.

As for meds, I take Diphenhydramine which is known to cause drowsiness and dizziness and dry-nose symptoms, but I've never taken it before so I'm thinking it's just first-time use, unfamiliarity issues.

It takes time for people to get used to medications, especially ones they haven't taken before and ones that are known to cause issues such as vertigo.

2) The entire world is spinning around my head. Like an earthquake is happening

Everybody said its something to do in my head but I stay firm that it was an earthquake happening after each medicine I used to take

I also suffer from allergies and over the years it's gotten worse. I used to take Diphenhydramine and it had similar effect - also I would feel drowsy to the point where often I had to pull over and park the car then take a peremptory nap. Then after complaining to my doctor he prescribed me Fexofenadine 120 mg which cause nominal side effects.

That's exactly what I've been feeling too. Everything else slows down... or maybe I'm just moving in hyperdrive? I get really dizzy but I can't sit down for more then a few seconds because the meds also make me manic. The spinning is definitely happening, but strangely enough I don't feel like I'm spinning. As you wrote, it's like everything else is spinning but me. When I sit I feel like I'm levitating or sideways.

I'm not sure if the meds are causing low blood pressure, but I feel lighter and colder so I'm guessing that's what's happening.

Yup drowsiness here too. After the mania dies down I can always tell when the meds are wearing off because I start yawning in quick succession and my eyes get droopy.

Well damn!! I like not having allergies, but the symptoms such just as bad.

I'm taking 50 mg right now, might try 25 today.

Did all Muslims migrate to Afghanistan? What is the ruling on the Muslims who didn't migrate?

The task of taking Islamic principles and applying them to a given situation is best left to religious scholars. You are a perfect example of why conmon people shouldn't dabble in pronouncing religious decrees.
