are there certain rules you guys have to follow here about what type of foods can be consumed during this fasting period or anything halal will do ?
Generally muslims eat halal throughout the year. Some consider makrooh meat not a sin hence they'll go to the mac, kfc and other joints. And ofcourse Ramzan comes with certain specialities and an iftar meal is not complete without dates, pakora (fritters), eggrolls, fruit chaat (salad), samosa's and kachor's etc.
During sehri we love to eat khajla and pheni soaked in sweetend milk, chai paratha or paratha with qeema, sandwiches and a lot of nutricious dishes.
Ramadan is a culinary feast for most foodies. :smitten:
