Subhas Chandra Bose is practically unknown in Pakistan. If you take a look at the text books on Pakistan, there are various names such as Gandhi, Nehru etc. But I never came across his name. Infect, I first heard about him on this forum (about a some time back in thread that was about him).

I dont think so we got anything to do with him, our struggle was not only against the brits but also against the congress and its supporters.

We have nothing to do him either. He is past. His vision nobody remembers and his deeds doesnt even occupy a single paragraph in our text book. In Pakistan he is not even mentioned. But , if you read about him, say in wiki (I am not telling hundreds of books written on him), I bet you will curse leaders of both Pakistan and India for deleting him from our history. BTW , have you heard of Azad Hind Fouz???

One thing I would like to add to this debate, a while back many indian members here were thrashing Mufti of Jerusalem when he collaborated with the Nazis in his struggle for freedom. And yet they dont waste a breath parsing S.C.Bosh where for me they were both after the same gaol. Independence for their respective countries, and defeat of the Brits.
