When Idi Amin kicked all the Asians out of Uganda in 1970s most moved to Britain on the strength of them having British nationality on account of being born in what was before the British Empire. DEspite massive popposition by far right National Front in UK the British government allowed wave of migration from East Africa because of the ctatus of 'British subjects" enjoyed by former colonies.

And those RSS rats killed this man saying he was responsible for the partition of their "Great India". LOL

This chap was himself the "subject of British Raj". What to say about those RSS rats who were way down the packing order in those times.

Jinnah negotiated Pakistan from British Raj, not with Gandhi or these RSS goons.

Would Kashmiri's have been a part of British India?
Yes. British India was the legal name of a colonial administration which was composed of dozens of subsidiary entities like Punjab, NWFP, Sindh, Aden [Yemen], Trucial states [modern UAE], straits settlements [modern Singapore], Burma [modern Myanmar, Bengal, United Provinces, etc, etc.

It included directly administered entities like Punjab, subsidiary selg govrning entities like Kashmir or Trucial states [modern UAE] and all used the British Empire Rupee. All citizens were subjects of the empire. So if a Kashmiri or Arab from Aden [Yemen] or Trucial States [modern UAE] or Punjab had sided with Germans in WW2 he or she would be charged with treason by the crown.

The British Raj extended over almost all present-day India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, except for small holdings by other European nations such as Goa and Pondicherry.[12] This area is very diverse, containing the Himalayan mountains, fertile floodplains, the Indo-Gangetic Plain, a long coastline, tropical dry forests, arid uplands, and the Thar Desert.[13] In addition, at various times, it included Aden (from 1858 to 1937),[14] Lower Burma (from 1858 to 1937), Upper Burma (from 1886 to 1937), British Somaliland (briefly from 1884 to 1898), and Singapore (briefly from 1858 to 1867). Burma was separated from India and directly administered by the British Crown from 1937 until its independence in 1948. The Trucial States of the Persian Gulf and the states under the Persian Gulf Residency were theoretically princely states as well as presidencies and provinces of British India until 1947 and used the rupee as their unit of currency.[15]

.
Precisely. It is important to understand thatr Pakistan and India are successor states of the British Raj along with others like Myanmar etc

This logical flow chart explains this nicely.

Poor Gandhi got bullet for no reason. His ashes were stolen recently. Still in death, paying for something he never committed. :D

Subject of the British Raj. I would not be so bold as to claim citizenship of Britain. Is this a trick question to troll nationalists on either side? :what:

And had Britain won the Anglo-Afghan war most of Afghanistan would also have been "British India". Durand Line was drawn by British.
