What is the possibility to purchase Helicopters from Neighbors ?

I believe a large number of Helicopters were left over by USA as they hastily left Afghanistan, any possibility that we can do some form of barter trade with the neighbors

• Super Mushak Trainers
• Wheat / Flour Supply (Excess Supplies )
• Basic Waponry for Police Force
• PIA Flights In / Out of Afghanistan
• Small Batch of AL Khalid Tanks

I don't think we can get Black hawk w/o US permission.. rest we can buy like Carbine, Nigh vision device, mi 35, 18 etc which van't be tracked...

The choppers are not very helpful for Neighbors they are better off with PickUps trucks for Police work

I dont think, this would be a good idea as far as aircrafts are concerned. For instance, if we somehow get the Blackhawk, where would the training, spares and support equipment come from? And also, only one BH heli is in flying condition while the others need repairs.
For land equipments like armoured vehicles, we can get plenty of them, if they are okay with it and we can fulfill their demand but still would take some time.
For guns and related equipment, we SHOULD work some magic and get out hands on the superior American equipment and maybe reverse engineer if and only if its worth it.
This all would only happen if we establish a well-mannered deep ties with the Taliban Emirate.

May be older batch of Al Khalid so they can have a miniature Army ground work.

First Afghanistan needs to form a govt, then they need to find money to import basic essential stuff like food and medicines. They then need money to be able to pay civil servants, police, etc. At present there is a real risk of famine for the majority of the populace, they cant eat aircraft, tanks, and guns.

As for Pakistan being able to officially buy any big ticket items from them, firstly, why would they sell? Secondly USA will not allow this to happen.

Worry about that later bring in the choppers if trade is possible
To me it looks like a very possible trade deal with neighbor

It's a complex machine it's better to be in Pakistan Aviation's control , logically makes sense

Neighbors don't know how to use these Choppers

Why don't we just buy brand new Z20 from neighbour in the North?? Rather than going for the black hawks. Many are damaged needs repairs and I don't think US will even sale the spare parts

at this point of time pakistan will not make any such move .. getting black hawk is one thing and maintaining them is another ... no one would be able to buy these planes unless the countries that built them allowed them, The biggest problem they will face is for spare parts which no one will be able to supply without the consent of the respective countries.

Wouldnt make sense for Pakistan to induct such maintenance heavy helis. A better and cheaper long term solution would be to just buy 50 new MI17s from Russia. Pakistan has experience using these for decades and is more suited for our environment.

Pakistan would be better off using the funds to buy domestic equipment from private sector firms than to invest funds into 3rd grade used equipment in afghanistan.

I remember one time we bought F16 but instead we got wheat bags

Rather then the aircraft (considering the wear and tear and their original age) we should try to get the Humvees for the FC. A few hundred to guard the Chinese should go a long way in showing the Chinese we take their safety serious and found a way to show them.

we can trade them Super Mushaks so they can police their airspace and take care of miscreants on their side of the border.

Not necessary helicopters or anything but alot of basic hardware like night vision, etc is being sold at very low prices


I expect Talibs to make a quick buck over the next few months and alot of hardware will enter Pakistan or be obtained by our military at Rock bottom prices
