It's okay but Chinese ships use the YJ-18 and YJ-12 because they are better.

Well done India. Whether Philippines is signatory to MTCR? If not, If not, make Vietnam and Philippines sign it. Sell them Brahmos ER with 800 km range with 4 mach speed. It will be a Real fun when India will sell these countries Brahmos NG with 1.5 tons of weight 450 km range at a 4.5 mach speed. Airforce version will have only 1.2 tons of weight. India is bringing hazards to south China sea. Now Chinese warships and aircraft carriers will be at the mercy of Philippines navy.

HHQ9?

Infact, MRSAM and Akash deal is also negotiated. For its range, there is no missile as effective as MRSAM. It can intercept supersonic cruise as well. I think Quasi ballistic Pralay will also be offerred in future.

What
HQ9? It can not intercept Brahmos.

What wil be chinas reaction to this?
She will probably respond with asymetric counterbalance.

China could arm Bangladesh, Myanmar, Pakistan and Sri Lanka with similar missiles and more submarines.
It could silently transfer hypersonic missiles which India has no defence against.

.
Do explain

A substandard system like other reverse engineered goods of China. Had it had that capability, China would not have bought S400 from Russia. It is like a story of a restaurant owner who had gone to nearby restaurant to take his dinner.

.
Better how?

Lighter, faster, more maneuverable, inertial guidance.

PLAN picked YJ-12 and YJ-18 over CX-1 which is itself a better version of the P-800/Yakhont/Onik/Brahmos family. The Brahmos is not a secret system. It is an off-the-shelf product sold by Russia.

Developed with similar if slightly superior capabilities to the Russian-Indian Brahmos, the CX-1 cruise missile retains a 280km range and can impact enemy warships with precision at speeds of Mach 3.

Dude, I have been hearing about Brahmos getting sold since like forever. Its a Russian missile, there is nothing to brag anout, the last time you sold 4 pcs of junk sweat radar to Armenia, they lost the war and now want a refund. Lol

Pakistan is ok but India herself sells weapons to Myanmar and has offerred the weapons to BD and SL. They are friendly nations of India.

CX 1 is a paper missile and has remained on paper since it is conceived. It is developed by a chinese company which doesn't even make mediocre defense stuff.

Its true.
Regardless, IMO China has the capability to influence both Bangladesh and Myanmar to have a less friendly interaction with India, if it wanted to.

So you are gonna rate a system negatively due to bias. Ok.

The HQ9 is a good SAM system, the procurement of the S400, much like the procurement of the S300, is so China can assess and see how they can make it better. Its like me saying, why buy more T90 tanks or Rafale if the Arjun and Tejas is available?
