What is the possibility to purchase Helicopters from Neighbors ?

Pakistan is a nuclear state. Why barter? Just show them the bomb and take all their helis  , even US would prefer Pakistan get them compared to talibs

India is also Nuclear State. Did India shared some Nuclear Weapons with its closed friendly previous Afghan Govt? Oh, Remember, It shared some planes and helicopters too that are parked now at various places. You can also do some Barter to get your weapons back.

US destroyed it themselves. They took radar, electronic equipment and ripped the wires.
Indeed

I believe a large number of Helicopters were left over by USA as they hastily left Afghanistan, any possibility that we can do some form of barter trade with the neighbors

Nah we don't need them we got Apaches and LCH, if the ANA couldn't maintain and use them to their full potential no way can the talibs do the same, good enough for now.

US has two choices here,
- Let Talibs enjoy the rides and wait for the equipment to go out of order
- Facilitate the transfer of equipment to Pakistan while promising the supply of spares and availability of maintenance services

The equipment in Talibs hand will be a headache for resistance forces and equipment in Pakistan's hand will be a headache for US new partner India.

They destroyed the ones at KBL Airport.

What about the one(s) they found in other regions?

If Pakistan can facilitate the transfer of just one in operation condition - you've hit the jackpot.

China already has a 95% Replica of the Blackhawk. Not certain if it's engine is anywhere near to the GE...

Instead of greedy Pakistanis trying to grab all the military equipment from Afghanistan in return to bags of rice, it would be wiser for Pakistan to sufficiently arm the new Afghan military so it can effectively fend off any future foreign invasion or intervention.

Khuda kay wastay, stop this shameful racist attitude and looking down at the Afghan people.

China's Z20 helicopters (based on S-70C-2 Blackhawk formerly in PLA Army Aviation service) is similar only in forms and shapes. Z20 may looks like Blackhawk but everything inside it is different from the US choppers, including the engine and rotor blades. They are not compatible.

Which bring me to my point...

Reverse Engineering could fix that...for future variants.

I was also thinking on the same point to get some helicopters and other stuff from Afghanistan on some terms and conditions but only problem I could foresee is later on Spare, technical training for these machines. That means, it would be a short term usage. Now, we need fiscal calculation whether it is worth spending or not.

Helicopters and vehicles need their own spare parts supply system, and qualified engineer team for repair and maintenance, otherwise it will become a pile of scrap after a few months

Yes. Majority of the US made aircraft were maintained by US contractors. They never built ANA maintenance capabilities. A lot of those contractors had already left the country almost a month back.

Interesting. Well, those are still transport heli's and do the job right? If I was in Pakistan's shows, I'd get Z-20 or whatever other transport heli anyone can offer with TOT and build an internal industry beyond just military transport. The same airframe can be used for commercial operations too and much needed revenue is saved yet another industry is created

What happened to afghan aircrafts specifically tuscon
