Right now if you need something done you need to go see 10 different people, get this stamp or that paper or what not.
We need to streamline the whole thing, for example if you need an ID made, get 1 application form online, fill it out, and either mail it or send it to one government building.
After streamlining the red tape, fire those 10 bureaucrats who are not needed anymore.

This way it will make peoples lives easier and the government will save money which they can use to give pay increase to the remaining bureaucrats to make them less likely to be corrupt.

Imran Khan is a hypocrite. He would refer to UK and all other areas but never give credit to the man who actually did it in Pakistan. Mr. Musharraf's government pioneered the local government system which he plans to call his own new invention.

Nevertheless, local government system is the way forward and there's more to be done like ending feudalism.

The problem was the local body elections only had candidates from political parties. In most places they are community workers. Many candidates came to power and started pimping their parties. This has to be on a much smaller level and the candidates have to be people like those who live in those areas.
