Iranian defense minister General Amir Hatami during his presence In Russia, had a meeting with Pakistani defense minister.
Amir Hatami emphasized on deepening defense ties between Iran and the friendly, brotherly and neighboring country of Pakistan, saying that Pakistan has an special place in Iran's foreign policy.
Amir pointed at COAS, Rana Tanvir the minister of Pakistan's defense productions visit to Iran, and visit of Iranian air force chief to Pakistan, and also the meeting between commanders of border guards of Iran and Pakistan, expressed hope in developing defense ties and bilateral ties between two nations.
He added that we mustn't allow the interventionist Americans to cause unrest, chaos and insecurity in our countries.
He also said that Iran is ready to increase and enhance defense and military ties with Pakistan.

Well I hope we can see something on the cyberspace not only by words during meetings. Sell and buy something :D

In your opinion are there any particular fields that would be of interest to Iran

Step 1 in our relationship with Iran should be fencing the border, stop smugglers. It would also reduce chance for Iranian intelligence to abuse the open border. Wasn't Uzair Baloch linked up with them?

First increasing safety of our borders to stop smugglers spies terrorists etc, and then selling armoured vehicles, anti tank Missiles, rifles, advanced drones, stealth drones, advanced MLRS etc to Pakistan. We need a foreign customer for our military products.

Iran has manufactured outstanding sniper rifles. Their penetrating capability is one of the bests.

i think iran is doing great when it comes to weapons systems.

Yes, depends on Pakistani side and her requirements. Pakistan has a regular army, I believe that they can produce those systems with providing required investment. But it could more beneficial to import them from a country that would provide its spare parts in all times even war times and already has invested in those systems.

There are many things that may pakistan favor them, being pakistan, she has open hand in purchasing for example from China, Turkey, russia and Iran.

We can launch Pakistan's low orbit satellites too. Or share the technology, depends on Pak side.
