Can Pakistani members in the known shed light on what happened to him ? Did he manage to annoy someone in the establishment and ISI stopped funding him ? It was believed he was a selected khilifa of someone called Yousaf Khazab whom claimed to be the next prophet in Islam. When that rumor broke out, the mullahs came after him.

Then in March of 2010 there was a shooting which left a Maulana Jalalpuri dead.

Sindh Police suspected it to be the work of Shias, while the mullahs blamed it on Zaid Hamid. But probably under mullah pressure he was eligible to be arrested if he came to Sindh.
