Dont know abt ur takas... but as per sources the deal was worth 162 million dollars...and includes 3 ARVs aswell and ... so i guess i was wrong about the price of the tanks... its probably lower..... Here are sources:

In fact we have a v modern tank workshop set up by the Chinese. This is an independent organization which is not tagged with BOF. Some Chinese technicians / engineers are working there most of the time.

@BDforever did not say about manufacturing or overhauling of tanks. He said about UPGRADING the 300 units of type-69 tanks of BA to Al Zarrar grade.

The T-84, T-90, AK and the MBT-2000 were competing during the tank tender. The MBT-2000 came out as the winner due to very favorable financial terms from the Chinese, along with some ToT.

Hey, T-90 was never in the consideration considering unit cost.

MBT2000 is perfect for BD's soft terrain. Though I believe we should go for more high performance APC and train out troops for asymmetric war fare and make them more agile while develop the AF and navy to a modern sophisticated force within out limited resources.
