For those who don't get it, the West has never been a 'friend' of Pakistan and have been mighty pissed off -- especially at our army -- ever since we developed our nukes in defiance of their sanctions.

As for the Arab 'friends', again no surprises. UAE has been suspected of meddling in Baluchistan and has reportedly issued stapled visas to Aazad Kashmir residents. Egypt's ruling military thugs have been licking America's boots for $2 billion/year and playing nice with Israel against the wishes of 95% of their people, so it's a bit rich of them to talk about military control of government. As for the Saudis, if the Americans believe anything that comes out of that government, then God help them.

Bottom line, we know exactly who our friends and our enemies are, and when these pronouncements come out of certain quarters, that's they best endorsement ever for the Pakistani military.

Firstly get your facts right, in documented evidence, anything up to 3000 Muslim were massacred.
It also seems you are incompetent to differentiate between ethnic/extremist violence and ethnic cleansing of a particular minority alas, care to elaborate how many Hindus died in Gujarat. ?? !!

Documented by whom? I don't much like playing the numbers game on this since every death was a tragedy but the official figures are 1267 dead. It was earlier put at 1044 (790 Muslims and 254 Hindus) but was increased as the missing persons were declared dead (after 7 years). There are many undocumented figures flying about but this is the official figure given by the Indian government (the present one is no friend of Mr.Narendra Modi) and unless proved wrong must be the one used in any discussion.
