What do Pakistani brothers think about Turkey

.
I like Turkey they are our good friend/ ally the respect us and honor our friendship !!

.
i think everybody in pakistan likes turkey both as a country and as a nation. personally i also like the secular form of government that is in turkey pakistan should have become a secular country right from the very beginning we would be in a much better place if we would have done that

Lol heck I can't be thankful enough to turkey for inventing Doner and Cevirme kababs... Commonly known in our parts of the world Shawarma and in the west, Gyro.

Actually neither Shoarma nor Gyros is Turkish, the former originated from Lebanon and today its far most popular snack in Egypt and throughout the region including Israel. Traditionally served with pita bread, garlic sauce and tomato-onion sauce.

Gyros is the Greek variant of Shoarma, prepared with pork, sweet paprika, oregano and rosemary and served with tzatziki, a youghurt-cucumber dressing with lots of garlic, olives and greek bread.

Just my 2 cents...:coffee:

I have a lot of Turkish friends here, there's a huge Turkish community in living in Germany, probably the largest outside Turkey and there are more than 100.000 Turkish migrants here in Holland. Modest and educated people, quite hardworking and good muslims. Though the older generations who migrated to Western Europe failed to adapt to the western society, the younger generations have been more successful.

Was this supposed to be funny? Because it came out sounding insulting and makes you look like a 4 year old, about a year older than your outgoing president whom according to you God is supposedly siding with. We all know which "god" is siding with him...it starts with an S and ends in atan.

Whether it was funny or not is dependent on the person reading it. Also, tell me which part of my post was insulting? is it just your opinion or does your opinion equals the facts and reality?...is your opinion the universal standard?.

It makes me look like a 4 year old? I don't know whether your insulting me or not but no matter...first you need to understand my post and the thread.

The thread is about "What do you think of Turkey?". It has made no specific reference to Turkey as in the country or Turkey as in the animal. In this situation, both responses are valid and still stands.

Most would comment on the country and I have commented on the animal. There is no conflict or insult. We just have a different response to the topic. Both responses are correct and valid.

You can bash my president and call him whatever, it doesn't affect me...as a matter of fact, I don't like him either.

But next time you try to insult me...atleast make it worthwhile. :agree:

you know that sauce is mostly just yogurt:D

I go around searching Dubai for shawerma and all its derivatives. So far I'm a big fan of Saudi Shawarma, which I've heard is quite similar to a Turkish Doner wrap. The Shawarma is prepared in a thin bread, the bread is lined with Thoom (garlic sauce) and then it wraps the meat. Then they toast the whole wrap. So the bread becomes hard. It's a nice combination of crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside...

Yes the sauce is made with yogurt and garlic in a very different technique and I make it at home:).Its the sauce that brings the unique taste.then I use some Rosemary and Thyme in it to enhance the aroma. And Neo is right Shawarma is from Lebanon...I know many lebonese people in Pakistan running cafe's for example Kap's cafe.Exotic Chocolates , Tempting Pastries and beautiful glitzy packings...I always buy Wedding gifts from there.

I wish Pakistan can be more like Turkey.

I hate the extremists in Pakistan who are causing so much pain and suffering.

They aren't racist:undecided: there was new a comer from Iran in the campus...a girl and she couldn't speak Urdu but we always conversed in Urdu with her untill she started talking in Urdu too.Now she is fluent:lol: lovely accent:enjoy:

1. People like Turkey and considered them ally, close brothers
2. People also like Iran and considered them ally and their leaders as patriotic, simple. There was a time Ahmadi nizad was quoted as example againts pak corrupt politicians.
3, Neither would help actively in war. Afghans did and offered help in case of foreign aggression. as they are 'stupid' enough.

I know Saudia Arabia is close ally of Pakistan, and as omar1984 say,Turkey is brother of Pakistan though they don't help much about Pakistan-India conflict.but how about Iran?do Iran and Pakistan has any disagreement?

that was the case when secularists were in power. dont know how will Turks play now.
